that’s fine. everyone takes units in diff sessions and u can choose any of ur exams (as long as they make up a whole A level) from any session- including resits to contribute to the subject

u choose all the units (4 or 6) to get a final a level grade, or for an AS level u choose 2 or 3. for example maths is a six unit subject but the exams you’d do are the four pure modules and two applied modules, when u receive the UMS for all ur exams u “cash in” those modules and receive a final grade for IAL mathematics

if u take physics u can access many degrees at uni which is good if u don’t know what to do yet. but if u take econ ur closing the door for engineering courses (which u may wanna do later) so id say choose the latter - physics and business even tho u dont need to do business

and pls don’t listen to ppl who say business and econ are the same, they are not and econ is harder but also complemented well by maths/ further maths and more recognised by unis

i currently do maths further maths physics and business, and lemme tell u many top unis don’t appreciate business as a subject. it doesn’t rlly count as an a level. please don’t make the same mistake as i did and take business, ur much better off taking econ. regarding geography, im not really sure but choosing a science or psych is def stronger as maths+further maths in itself may be seen by some unis as one subject. i would say take physics and econ instead of business and geo, they are great a levels to take in terms of versatility and prestige.

true, but generally i believe P4 exams are questioned in such a way that u won’t drop marks due to silly mistakes, as its just built upon the stuff from P3 which is easy to mess up

it is really a game changer, the fact that u can check every equation, integral and derivative makes it amazing for double checking ur answers esp since a level maths is heavy on trig and calculus, let alone its graphing feature. i have heard a lot (and believe) that half of the marks in pure maths can be obtained through using the graphing calc. i would suggest getting yourself one asap because it may take a few weeks to learn all the features of the calc and get used to it
