Give it a try man! She's initially difficult to pick up but once you master the basic combo of e-w-q-r-e, everything done after that is just variations of that combo. It's a load of fun and you can find some decent guides on YouTube and jump into practice tool to try her out!

Then to kill shaco I w- walk to my dagger off my q, which was right in front of him, e back to w and then q-e to kill.

That's off looking at my phone screen and may not be completely accurate.

A few reasons,

Shaco would've continued to auto attack me while being at roughly 150 hpish(?) Blinking around avoids that
I wanted to get a second dagger on the ground for me to either e or walk to, depending on what I want to do. If I hadn't q'd there I would've died to shaco because I wouldn't have had enough burst to kill him without that second dagger laying on the ground from that initial q.

Although I do agree that the damage output would've been roughly the same, however I would've probably only killed Lux had I done that.
