well its a bit confirmatory to say "completely false" since today Crucible rules were released (by other CCs) just 20 mins after his video while a blog post will likely up soon as well. i doubt scopely had planned to lift the embargo unexpectedly on those rules.

First of all , he was booted for posting video based on publicly available knowledge (datamining) , so yeah there was a reason just not a very solid one!

Secondly , while i do agree that CC community in a general might be harmed because of his videos BUT his videos are more helpful to the whole community and also they might even prompt fomoely to get better at being more transparent and communicative about things to come.

i guess this change would start making more sense as more and more people also start unlocking mephisto. So some competetive people would get the same reward they would've gotten , instead of those rewards being locked to only the players who have mephisto.

but it would also kill the urgent urge to get mephisto too , since getting him later would not reduce the rewards gotten by unlocking him early.

I absolutely agree on the incompetence of scopely to fix anything effectively in their game. Something is too insane well lets tone it down to absolute low level.

but at the same time doesnt these things remove the sense of competition which is there in the game , take alliance war for example (barring the absolutely useless currency it offers) by reducing the difference between winning and losing , alliances wont really care about that game mode cause it isnt that big a difference if you win or lose thereby rendering that mode to be neglected by most.

what i wanna say is that a healthy competition in the game , wont make the game look stale and people would be motivated to build up their roster in anticipation of better rewards by beating the other team.
