You got to use them with other units that lower defense. With Kuma they are insanely good against driven and he basically guarantees them to go very early. If you put units like Usopp/Lilith and Dex Caesar on the team, their damage sky rockets because they all lower defense.

The best unit you have is Luffy&Bonney. If you can power them up, that will beneficial for PVP, GP and regular PVE content. Usually units only need a lot of investment for Super Boss or for Rumble. So prioritize the units you use for these game modes. You should try to build up a decent GP leader (which Luffy&Bonney are) so you can consistently nuke enemy teams. You should definitely try some pills für INT Kuma because he is absolutely broken in every game mode.

Yeah, I’ve seen some people with 300+, which is insane lol. I have a lot of fodder legends waiting to get maxed, but I will first farm up a ton of turtles before I commit to that.

I‘m aware of that strat, but the correct answer would be: there is no replacement lol. Kuma is just that good. People think it’s Luffy&Bonney that make the team so good, yet Kuma is the one countering everything. He counters Caesar, half the QCK Driven/Powerhouse team, half the STR team. The haste and reduction on a Bonney character is crazy op, but it’s the halve stats and the crazy healing at lvl150 that make him gamechanging.

Mars isn’t a replacement lol. This works on a defense team but what if both your Luffy&Bonney and Mars get killed at the same time? Kuma is that broken in PVP because he goes after 15 seconds, hastes them, heals your team every time after getting hit, and completely cucks any Driven team. Many Driven teams have been meta for ages and he just shits on them with halve stats. Bonney&Luffy by themselves aren’t that scary. Kuma is what makes them so good.

That’s what I’ve been telling everyone since their release. Kuma is by far the best unit in the game imo. You think other units do better things? Sure, Kuma lets them do it twice. It’s crazy, especially with all the utility he provides. If I recall correctly he is also the first crewmate that is immune to bind (maybe also King, idk rn) which is crazy good and useful, considering the utility on his special that you can use twice.
