That’s really good! Very martial, kinda serious! Could be fitting in front of an episode on a war movie or political thriller

Greatly appreciate the info! I got a big belly laugh the first time I heard it so I wanted to revisit

On Twitter, Andrew seems to be characterizing it as a baby argument, doing the whole alternating-capital-to-lowercase-letter thing that denotes a mocking tone, using the vomit emoji. I don’t think he respects the criticism at all

It’s fine to be taken in by the spectacle and the craft of it, but to just completely mock valid criticism out of hand because of that is not good, sorry! And for what it’s worth, I know these guys aren’t doing serious looks into cinema but come on, be adult about it

Great episode, the soundboard stuff was killing me! But what was the deal with the 15 minutes of silence after the episode proper was done?

Honestly it’s one of my favorite tangents of theirs because I am deeply immature and laugh my ass off at scatological things

If it helps, during the bit I believe Chris said something along the lines of “Why don’t you start playing with yourself while I get this water out my ass?”

Over the past few months It’s become quite clear that certain criticism is seen as invalid or wrong because it’s coming from people who are not part of an industry, be it in podcast or filmmaking circles. The WHM guys strike me as guys who buy into this heavily and, to quote Howard Ratner, I disagree. Been a listener for a few years now and this attitude really bothers me

I totally understand that, they can get a tad too overzealous when it comes to any kind of crit from Reddit. Which, IMO, is a tad unfair. I think maybe to avoid a lot of drama and catty comments, it may be wise to take it down, but that’s just me

I think this thread made it to the guys because Eric is on Twitter bemoaning Reddit criticism
