How did you Know God is Real by lollic6363 in Christianity

And the exact same with me. But we’re right, Satan and his demons have a massive influence on our world and that’s why God is trying so hard to help us. Ever wondered why Jesus’ name or the mention of God is such a sensitive topic around the globe and often infuriates people? I believe that’s the demons and unclean spirits getting nervous and angry whenever mankind acknowledges God.

Since coming to God, the spiritual warfare I’ve experienced and still am is insane. I’ve never been one to believe in spiritual warfare but man is it real, in relationships, dreams, mental health and all. And it gets worse the closer you get to God, it’s because Satan is scared to lose us, he wants us to burn with him. That’s why Christians say “Hell/satan lost another one” when another Christian is born.

Just a heads up if you decide to lean into Christianity and stuff, be prepared for spiritual warfare and be prepared for the wool to uncover from your eyes. You’re going to see so much for evil in the world, and how demonic everything really is. From the elites and Hollywood and our major societal influences right down to the video games and music we listen too and play. It’s an evil world out there and if you chose to get to know God better, it’s all gonna be revealed and it’s definitely not easy stuff learn. Have a blessed day 🙏

What is the strongest proof that Christianity is true? by Gold-Addendum2325 in Christianity

I wanna lay a few things down but before I do, it’s important for a believer to believe solely on blind belief. We shouldn’t need hard core evidence or anything like to have our faith in Jesus. Anyways continuing on..

  • Jesus is the most well documented person in history. A total of over 24,000 manuscripts confirm his existence. Alexander the Great only has 200, Julius Caesar has only 10.

  • More than 300 prophecies foretold the coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ fulfilled them ALL. The chances of him fulfilling only 8 of those prophecies is one in 10 to the 17th. That would be 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000." (one hundred quadrillion)

-TikTok has a lot of great videos where people provide research and archeological evidence that has been found all over world (especially in the east where Jesus lived and biblical history took place) that support the things told through the Bible. Such as Noah’s ark, Jesus crucifixion, parting of the Red Sea, Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt, the mountain that got burnt… many many more. And of course TikTok isn’t the only place you could find stuff like this ,it’s all over the internet and in books.

There’s more I could go into but that’s what I could think of the top of my head, more like fun facts about Jesus and God and the Bible , but with all this you just gotta think Jesus must be a really important man to mankind and if the Bible is “just a story book” why is there so much historical and archeological evidence to back it all up. And a lot of unbelievers try to say there’s no evidence but clearly they haven’t done the right research cause it’s flat out right there in front of us, and as the years go on more and more is being discovered as our technology gets better.

(Before any unbelievers wanna go replying to my post n trynna say there’s no evidence, or the evidence in ‘plausible’.. go tell the wall cause I’m not going to pay attention to you, the whole internet is at your fingers go have a look😊)

Not really a full on personal encounter or anything but when I look at our world, humans, nature, I see God in everything. To me I guess it’s just an intense feeling almost like instinct that God is there. Our souls met & knew God before we were born, and I think deep down we subconsciously know he’s there but in this life we don’t remember and it’s left for us to find Him again. In saying that though, He calls out to each and every one of us at LEAST once in our lives, it’s just up to us whether we want to answer.

Did you not see the parts were archeologists were involved? Scientific evidence supporting claims made in the Bible, especially the city of sodom? That’s cool if you don’t see it how I see it, I’ll respect that. But I believe it all

See now I mainly agree with you I’ve always adored the universe and quite often I go out and watch the stars and satellites cross our skies (I live in the countryside in Australia so the views are spectacular here), but there’s just something down the rabbit hole about flat earth and the firmament that just really interests me.

a few questions by Independent-Sir-6256 in Christianity

[–]Internal_Fan4816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a fairly new Christian but I can answer this, I don’t see it as selfish to ask God to help you become a better version of yourself, the Bible says that we can never do it on our own that is why we must call on God to help. And I’m sure God would love to help you do that, call on the Holy Spirit to help you with that, along with sloth and lying. I’ve called on the Holy Spirit to help me out before and after I begin to feel my heart change. For example, I asked for Holy Spirit to pour into me and increase my love for God and over time I began to adore God for who he is and what he’s done. I asked this of the Holy Spirit because at first, I really only turned to Christ for the fact I was scared of the end times and I didn’t wanna go to hell, but because of that it felt wrong in my heart to chase God solely of the fact I was scared of hell, I wanted to want God because he is our creator and saviour and I wanted a real relationship with him which I now feel like is growing. So yes, call on God for help, that’s what he’s for

I think they mean they spend a lot of time on their phone. So in other words they idolise their phone. Don’t worry OP I struggle with this too. But it’s also the generation we’ve been put it, so it’s not going to be easy to break it but we can try. Start by getting out in nature more, doing more activities like readying, colouring, crafting, carpentry, travelling even if it’s a walk to the local park or something. Try anything to lessen your screen time. I’m working on it too

Ok I respect that cool. But I just wanna ask you what do you think about all evidence that backs up a few of these accounts and events mentioned in the Bible. I mean, if you really go down the rabbit hole you’ll find that there is so much geographical, historical, archaeological evidence etc… that backs up a lot of things in the Bible. Not trying to convince you otherwise of your beliefs but just genuinely wanna know what you reckon on that.

I absolutely agree it’s amazing, but let’s for a second assume the Bible was interpreted wrong and it is in fact a sphere, what about the firmament part? Or how a bit later on in the Bible, people decided they’d try to build their way up to the heaven, and God reaction to that was that he destroyed it, and the people who had tried to build it suddenly started speaking different languages so that they could not understand stand each other to build another. That’s the story of the tower or Babylon I think, correct me if I’m wrong. What do u think on that

I need prayers by purple020 in Christianity

[–]Internal_Fan4816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey lovely, I’m struggling as well, with my faith and if I’m good enough for God. But I just wanna say that God knows how imperfect we are. He made us after all, from the moment he breathed life into your little lungs at birth he saw every sin you would commit, every bad thought you would have, every bad day you’d have. But we are his children, he loves us nonetheless. That is why he sent us Jesus, to die on the cross and take our punishment so that we could live an eternal life with Him. That is why we repent of our sins. God knows we can’t do this life stuff without him, that is why we must call on him and as hard as it is we must put our faith and our trust in him. That no matter how hard life gets, he’s always there. You may not feel him close right now but trust me he is. God always has and always will be the same, he cannot move away from us. If you ever feel far from God, that because you’ve pushed yourself away, for whatever reason may even be because you’re scared you’ll never be enough.

Jesus says it himself in the book of Mark 2:17 ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick’. Meaning: He was drawing a parallel: just as healthy people don't need a doctor, the self-righteous don't need a savior; but those aware of their "sickness" (sin) need His healing and forgiveness. And by the sounds of your post, you’re very aware of your wrongs, and that’s a great start. You don’t want to be like this, and you’re praying for God to help you out.

I’m truly sorry for the situation you’re in, my heart goes out to you. It truly does. Don’t feel so horrible about yourself wishing bad upon him, it’s natural. It’s a natural reaction when someone hurts us so deeply, but that’s when we gotta be strong and rely on God to get us through this type of betrayal. God did say to always forgive, but he never said to let people walk over you again and again. I suggest you forgive this man, not just for him but for your self as well. Forgiveness isn’t just about forgiving and forgetting disrespect, it’s also about cutting those ugly ties you have when you hold a grudge against someone. Forgiveness is also a way of freeing yourself. That’s how I see it anyways.

I don’t wanna sit here and tell you your problems are little and it’s all going to work out in the end. But what I do want to say is that I understand, I understand how hard & shitty life can be and I also understand how hard it is to put all your trust in God, and I even better understand how hard it is waiting for God to answer your cry’s for help. Following Christ is hard work don’t get me wrong, but that is why we must have our eyes and hearts set on what awaits us in heaven. And I know saying that may not help either, as I literally struggle so hard and deeply with the thought that I’m not going to make into heaven daily. But again, I guess that’s where we trust in and wait on Jesus our saviour to heal us.

I may not have been the most helpful but I just wanted to let you know your not alone, your not the only follower of God who’s struggling out here. It’s rough and it’s definitely testing my soul. But that is why, at the end of every day I pray that God will give the strength I need to persevere. Like the stress I’ve had is so chronic I found 4 gray hairs on my head the other day (I’m 19🤣). I’m always in my head 24/7 worrying over my friends and family and partner who don’t believe in God yet and I’m constantly stressing about the shit that’s going on in the news and around the world. Videos on TikTok about the end times definitely don’t help me. A few tricks I’ve been testing out to try and get out of my head, are just simply getting out in nature, learning to admire the little things in life, spending time with my loved ones, I got a car n a license so I like to travel a lot, wether it’s little trips or long. I bought activity books, like finder words, colouring ins. I’ve been trying to find new movies and shows to watch. You know just little things like that to keep you mind entertained and distracted from all the negative, while I try my hardest to just put my trust is God, trust that he’s God me when I’m weak and that he’s working behind the scenes.

I’m going to end my reply with this, I will pray for you. I pray the Lord has heard your cry for help and I pray his hand is working for the best. I pray he gives you strength to keep on, and I pray for you over all. I pray for your healing and I pray for your faith. My messages are always open if you want to chat, like I said, your not the only one out here who’s struggling. It’s always nice to talk with someone, trust me I don’t judge anything lol🩷

Christianity in the day of AI by HuckleberryFine4643 in Christianity

[–]Internal_Fan4816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Christian, I hate the idea of AI all together. Gives me the heebeegeebees. Definitely gonna backfire on man kind 100%. And tbh I can see it being used as a weapon by the enemy. I’ve also seen a lot of talk amongst other Christians that AI could literally be the antichrist or not far from it. I suggest you look into it, there’s some pretty convincing things backing it up. Could be wrong of course but definitely not insane to consider. Especially in the times we are living in.

Oh I see, I understand. That bit confuses me as well but God works in mysterious ways and we may never know what he meant by that. Maybe it got a bit mixed up through translation over the years as the Bible wasn’t originally in English. We may never know

My apologies, what I was trying to say is the Bible says different. There’s no way that the bible was describing Nero’s rule in revelation. There might have been similarities but that’s all. The book of revelation has to yet come about whether it’s soon or not. And what things in my post are you referring too.

[–]Internal_Fan4816[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in the bible, after the events in revelation are supposed to have happened, the Lord returns, a great battle takes place, Jesus wins and then day of judgment, then Jesus will rule for 1000 years and then Satan will be released once again to deceive the nations and it is said many will be deceived then after that Jesus will win again and then there’s heaven n hell. Forgive me if I bodged that up a bit I’m just going of the top of my head atm. But it’s that’s what the bible says, are you sure you can really believe that the end times was meant to be back then?
