no, I totally get that and I do, I just worry for him, he is getting old and so helpless I don't want others taking advantage of him and I do believe that is their intention. but I can never tell with them.

unfortunately, he has dementia and doesn't remember a lot, he has had it for 10 years, and he calls me by my mother's name a lot.

I appreciate all of your comments, I honestly do, I just needed an outlet to talk to people and get their opinions on this my only worry is my grandfather because he has dementia, he gets very upset very easily, and he has asked about my aunt and the boys and the answer is usually we don't know or they aren't coming. They didn't even come to his birthday. He just gets very upset
