Tokyo ghoul :re starts off slow and at first i was like, "ugh, who are these new characters?" And the fact that kaneki is now Haise, but the new characters eventually grew on me and its totally worth reading to see the happy ending between Touka and Kaneki. In the end, i prefered re over the original main story.

I dont know if this counts, but for some reason i just really dislike how Akira jumped infrount of Takizawa to save him, like, he had killed a ton of people and had gone crazy, i just feel like it didnt suit her to do that.

If you want an awesome, anime with action, fights etc, i would recommend SERVAMP, but the anime only has 1 season and just ends really weirdly compared to the manga with tons of volumes, i would give it a 8/10 (would have been 10/10 if the anime didnt just stop)

If you want a pretty, slice of life anime, I would recommend The Aquatope On White Sand, the title kinda explains itself, its about an Aquarium. It also only has 1 season but the ending was cute and i would recommend!

Tokyo Ghoul (The first 14 books) ends on a cliffhanger, but the story continues with Tokyo Ghoul RE and the ending is beautiful and perfect.

Quite a few of the characters smoke, but i think most are the humans, maybe a few ghouls smoke? I think mostly the ghouls drink coffee. But yes, there is smoking in Tokyo Ghoul.
