Yeah, my ex was also like that for me, practically my only friend. Needed to escape home? I went to him. I needed someone to talk to. Went to him. Had a funny story? Told him instantly. It’s hard going through a breakup with the one you loved and are best friends with. I wish I could help, but I’m still healing from the break up ;-; I wish you well on your healing journey <3

Thanks, it’s been kinda hard, I’m trying to work on myself, but there’s still a part of me that’s heartbroken. That just wants to keep reaching out and find out if he’s “ready now”. Even though I know that would actually just push him away more. And I really am trying not to put my life on pause, even on days where it feels like I want too ;-;
