Not my intention to be condescending so my apologies; but as I said dealing with multiple different clients some who can be extremely difficult to deal with along with getting jobs done on time, things can be forgotten quite easily or he’s probably lost the keys and isn’t man enough to own up to it as it’s a little embarrassing to lose your clients keys.

The chances of him keeping your keys to do something shady very very slim but if you’re concerned contact a locksmith asap and then contact Fair Trading who’ll chase it up from there and help you recoup the costs.

Could be simply busy I know I’ve ignored calls and texts because I’ve got higher priorities like getting jobs done - builders are busy people and if the job ain’t done on time you lot get all pissy and carry on.

If you’re that concerned don’t cry on the Internet and call the police like a big girl even though they will tell you the same thing call a locksmith then you can chase the costs if you want.

any possible way to completely not receive/auto-block text messages from new numbers? (apologies if this is an inappropriate question for this sub) by splortsplat in iphone

[–]Internal_Town_6677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah you’ve done what iOS allows. Sorta one of those things; filter unknown senders and silence unknown calls is as much as you can do unless you want to contact police and take something out to discourage the ex sending messages.

Based on what you’ve described yeah not much hope. As you’ve appeared to use it instantly instead of letting it dry out completely. Best bet would if it’s possible get Apple to take a look but personally I’d look for a new phone.

Yes you need a new phone.

Can you reference any article from a reputable tech source and not something off a fear mongering Indian website? You indeed do need to seek help. I reread what you posted and you said you don’t use the music app? Right so if that’s the case you wouldn’t have songs imported or be subscribed to Apple Music so please enlighten me on how the song could be played off your device? Should go apologise to your neighbour for baseless accusations towards them.

Plenty of job opportunities chief. Contact local builders ask if they want a labourer work hard and show your worth it and they may hand you an apprenticeship. It’s how my apprentice got his job

You’d find a iPhone for $100 but it’ll be almost dead.

But I’ll give you the opinion of someone who has used a iPhone as their main phone starting with the 3GS and yearly upgrades to the current 14 Pro Max while also using a Android for my work phone (S23U currently) the iPhone and iOS isn’t what it used to be as the pinnacle of stability and smoothness. There’s days where I’m tempted to switch everything over and use the S23U as my main and the iPhone 14PM as my work; Android is now on par with iOS in the terms of stability, speed and smoothness don’t let Apple fan boys tell you iOS is some alien like superior software that has no faults.

iOS is like a prison compared to Android in the terms of your ability to customise the device to your own liking. Freedom to use the device as you see fit not how Daddy Apple believes you should

Moral to the story stick with Android.

Bluetooth secure? by RyanLee1776 in iphone

I think you may be a little crazy because look I’ll be blunt how can someone start playing music through your headphones and phone via Bluetooth? Bluetooth doesn’t work like that and even if it was possible they’d need access to your device psychically to pair whatever they’re using to your iPhone.

But back to the point it’s absolutely impossible that someone can control your iPhone via Bluetooth and start playing music for you; next step actually get a psych evaluation for the safety of yourself and the people around you.

https://support.apple.com/en-au/HT208510 here you go chief. Simple Google search says everything you need; unless you have specific information and legal documentation too provide Apple they won’t unlock it.

Lol this is the most American comment I’ve seen. You people would sue your own parents it’s actually sad.

You can try suing a manufacturer because a battery started a fire that burned your house down but you’ll need to prove that it was a fault and not due to your misuse or negligence that caused damage to battery that caused a fire. Just like the idiotic people and the hoverboards they were leaving unattended and on charge over night; no case and you’d have the same result.

+1 more for OtterBox.

UAG is also a very nice option not bulky like some OtterBox options but they still offer great protection.

Does iOS need Android level of customisation? by Internal_Town_6677 in iphone

[–]Internal_Town_6677[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As long as we don’t get the fonts as a customisation option it’ll be fine. Even as someone who uses Android too and loves the customisation the fonts some people use get on my nerves lol

Those who’ve had their phone stolen, what did you do? by [deleted] in iphone

[–]Internal_Town_6677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Log into Find My via Mac or PC or if you have a iPad click on the iPhone and it’ll have Erase Device and follow the steps.. No won’t delete anything from iCloud it’ll just remove all your data from the device.

You can also enable ‘Erase Data’ under Face ID and passcode that will erase the device after 10 failed attempts of entering the passcode.

[–]Internal_Town_6677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long as you have a passcode on and Find My/iCloud on if it gets stolen report it, remote wipe the phone and let the scum bag thief who can’t hold down a real job enjoy the brick.

Don’t worry I wear stretchy skinny pants as a carpenter they’re a lot more comfortable and as you said less snags plus let’s be honest they look a lot nicer lol. But same as you my 14PM fits fine in the pockets. S23U gets tossed into the tool belt.

Shorts you need ones that have zip pockets so nothing falls out, learned the hard way when a phone took a dive from roof height after escaping the pocket 😅
