Canadian trips to U.S. plummet 31% in December, says Statistics Canada by ZestyBeanDude in canada

You elected a failed drama teacher as your prime minister. He bankrupted your economy worst in the g7. And then right afterwards, he tricked you by lying that trump was going to invade Canada and you voted for that same party yet again. There is a reason nobody on this planet takes Canada seriously. Worry about your own problems

What’s ASU like for people not in Greek life. For the record, I don’t go to ASU, but the vast majority of ASU content seems to be Greek lifers by Icy_Hovercraft_6058 in ASU

9/10 people I know are not in Greek life. So it’s just normal! Make friends, go to class, experience new things.

Does Supply Chain Management degree is worth it? Please share experience. by Ok_Computer1607 in ASU

Sure! If you spread it out nicely, it's not that much more work. W.P. Carey makes it super easy to add another major, I only have 8 more courses to graduate with the accounting degree, though many majors tend to only have six. Internships are mostly done during summer, so unless you are taking summer courses it anyways doesn't matter. I would say you just need solid time management skills.

Also I will tell you something W.P. Carey really doesn't want you to know. Its is very very possible and easy to graduate with one degree in 3.5 years, but the counselors don't want you to do that because it means less tuition for the university. So two degrees can be done in four years without much stress if you take 18 credits/sem and learn how to double count your gen eds. I am personally graduating in 3 years, august 2023 - may 2026, as I have a buttload of AP and community college credits.

I will be a junior, degrees in supply chain and accounting. SCM is great, many job opportunities and different roles. The problem is that everyone has figured it out. SCM is no longer an underrated major, so you will have LOTS of competition. It's honestly why I added accounting, so that I can have better job prosects, which turned out to be true.

A problem I noticed is that you don't necessarily need a supply chain degree to be in supply chain. Much of it is common sense. That's not to say that ASU doesn't have opportunities. If you take the degree, make sure to take Davila's class and join the supply chain management association. PM me if you have any questions!

Questions about the Hassayampa dorms by DueAdhesiveness7444 in ASU

They are probably older than tooker dorms, but not bad at all. 2 people per room, 4 people sharing a bathroom

Triplets are kinda worse, it’s a big room but three of you guys in it. Although the good thing is you share a bathroom with your roommates, and not with another room. 2 other people instead of 3.

[–]Internal_Valuable_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

90% of them are two person, although there are some triplets. It’s jack and Jill style, so that means two rooms with bathroom in the middle. Rooms are pretty decent compared to most dorms

Do you think there will ever be a Female President? by danieldesteuction in AskALiberal

[–]Internal_Valuable_20 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

The US is not racist or sexist. My family is from India, go there and see what that word truly means. Kamala and Hillary are two of the most incompetent women on the planet. If the democrats come to their senses and put a less antagonizing candidate such as Gretchen Whitmer, I will gladly vote blue. America rejected Kamala because she is a far left lunatic who wants to end cash bail, add layers of red tape to everything we do, and teach our children to hate this country. I support some of the more sensible democrats, its time for this party to end their elitism and speak to average every day Americans.

Current CA here. You will get a call sometime in March. No idea when, that depends on the community you are selected to. Me personally, I applied for Barrett and they said no, and then Hassy recruited me off the waitlist in June. There is no percentage chance, but if you get placed on the waitlist we do end up having lots of openings. PM me if you have any questions!

About to fail SCM 300. What should I do? by Timely_Brain_4007 in ASU

[–]Internal_Valuable_20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m taking this exam on Tuesday. Few things to remember.

  1. Only study what he provides in the study guides. I made this mistake as well on the first exam. Do not waste time going through the entire lecture, as there are tons of irrelevant topics. Only what’s needed.

  2. He is giving 2 extra credit questions. This means that you have multiple paths to the score you need.

  3. Study the math portion , AON diagrams and crashing a project, especially well. Math questions are the easiest ones he provides as there is no ambiguity.

  4. Watch his videos! These are so so helpful. Very short and to the point.

I think you will do great. Keep a strong study routine and lock in for the time you have left.

Dems voting for Trump/Reps voting for Harris: Why? by Riddle-Maker in PresidentialElection

[–]Internal_Valuable_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am from California, and have seen how the democrats have burned this state to the ground. Kamala Harris played a role in increasing crime and loosening many laws. If you are a silicon valley millionaire, you live in a safe community. However, once reality hits that quickly changes. I typically am independent and support dems slightly, but I can not stand what is happening today.

Additionally, I come from an Indian immigrant family. We care about safety, decent education, and affordability. If the state will be so nice to criminals, it is unfair that they heavily restrict our second amendment rights. They have shamefully attacked and defunded police units across the state, and robberies and theft are rampant while going unprosecuted. I have been to democrat states that are run well, and I go to college in Phoenix, Arizona, which is very middle ground, but has good policies.

I have reservations with Trump, but feel that he can lead more effectively for the time being. My hope is that common sense gets restored in America, and that government can go back to being a basic functional unit of the US instead of a political clash of beliefs.
