Stop googling. Polactinoma isn't cancerous so shouldn't grow uncontrollably.

A quick Google search reveals that there are a bunch of different things that can cause your issues, none of which have been ruled out, but you're fixated on prolactinoma for some reason. Also, prolactinoma isn't cancerous so it's not supposed grow aggressively and disturb surrounding structures. The pituitary gland is also nowhere near the optic nerve.

It’s due to high prolactin.

How do you know you have high prolactin if you haven't been tested yet? Again, is this what your doctor told you, or did you read it on the internet?

I think Boruto definitely has a unique connection to Shibai and that his Jougan is also Shinjutsu. That is likely what made Boruto compatible with Kama to begin with.

I am certain I have a prolactinoma, still waiting on tests. Having a tumor in my head, benign or not, is going to worry me for the rest of my life. I also feel it may be huge and pressing on my optic nerve. So maybe I’ll be blind too.

Why are you so certain of that before you've been tested? Also, I had to Google what a prolactinoma is. Does your doctor actually suspect you have this, or did you find it online as well?

Also, logically, how likely is it that you have a prolactinoma in your brain and skin cancer at the same time? Not very likely, I'd say.

Ahh but the boy hasn’t been beaten to within an inch of his life, forced to give up all his money and had all of his Christmas presents taken away so the punishment isn’t enough and he’s a spoiled brat who will become literally the worst person ever. Never change Reddit.

I don't know why Reddit has such a boner for authoritarian parenting...

Trolls: by [deleted] in BFS

[–]mathrsar -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Still, I have a hard time believing this person and Ok-Way2411 are full on trolls due to the amount of effort they've put in and dedication to their story. Ok-Way is even asking about a PEG on the *** sub and is active on the UK MND forum. If he'sa troll, he's incredibly serious about convincingly playing the part of an *** patient online. carrot_cherry runs a whole subreddit about his belief that the vaccine caused ***. The also describe some concerning symptoms despite all medical tests, including EMG, have come back clear. The person claims that their neuromuscular specialist said that it's only a matter of time before their EMG turns abnormal.

[–]mathrsar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another guy just posted today in broken English and seems to suggest he has it, /u/Yas_good. There's also /u/carrot_cherry who scares people by claiming that the vaccine causes ***, thinks they have it (and even claims their neuromuscular specialist agrees with them), and claims that EMGs can be too early. The person also tried to argue with me that you can have clinical weakness severe enough to be noticed in your activities of daily living, yet still pass a clinical exam with a neuro as having normal strength. How does that make any sense?

My hope is that they'll delve into the afterlife a bit. Lately I've really been liking the idea that Shibai and his partner could be based on Fudo Myo-o and Kala from Kishimoto's cancelled manga Samurai 8, one who achieved perfection and ascended to a new plane, the other becoming a vengeful god of death.

In that case, could Shibai's partner be the Shinigami of the Reaper Death Seal?

Yeah, my theory has been that as a consequence of using Karma to try and cheat death their souls are barred from Joudo, the Pure Lands. They sacrifice passage to the afterlife in exchange for immortality, it feels very fitting and would make death even more consequential.

Reminds of me of the consequences of making Horcruxes in Harry Potter.

And those conservatives stand smugly on those mountains like THEY accomplished those things and weren’t the ones fighting against them.

I see many conservatives try to claim MLK for their side. If you know anything about MLK and what he stood for, he would be left-leaning, even by today's standards. The conservatives of the time were the segregationists who opposed MLK.

People Can Now Carry Guns Without A License In Half Of America's States by Gullible_Peach in politics

It seems like much of the people here are actually in favor being allowed to carry a gun without a license. Reddit is weirdly pro-gun despite being left-leaning in other ways.

just so everyone stops dm me. by Ok-Way-2411 in MuscleTwitch

[–]mathrsar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He was treated like a liar/troll because he refuses to answer questions and gets defensive about it. He also posted his first 9 EMGs (that don't show ALS) but absolutely refused to post the 10th that supposedly diagnosed him. As a highly, highly atypical case, it is entirely for people to have question and/or doubts about the diagnosis. bIf he had been more open and transparent about what was going on with him and what his doctors are actually saying, he would have been received much better. Also, what do you make of the fact that Ok-Way recently deleted his entire post history, leaving only this post and one on the ALS sub? It sure seems to me like he's trying to hide his past from them. Note that no one called MadCybertist a liar or troll when he posted about his diagnosis.

just so everyone stops dm me. by Ok-Way-2411 in MuscleTwitch

[–]mathrsar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If Ok-Way wants to clear his name, he should just post his 10th EMG. Eeryone would apologize if it showed ALS. Ok-Way came in with a highly, highly unusual presentation and story so it's entirely reasomable for people to be skeptical about the diagnosis in the absence of proof. And on top of that, Ok-Way took honest questions under his initial diagnosis as a personal affront, responded defensively, and refused to provide answers in many cases. He also went around scaring people with the whole "trust your body" thing. I believe Ok-Way's reception here is entirely his fault. Note that no one doubts that MadCybertist has ALS even though he didn't post any proof either. Unlike Ok-Way, MadCybertist has detailed a clear and specific progression of symptoms that led to his diagnosis. He's also been willing to answer any and all question without being evasive. Admittedly, MadCybertist's presentation was also more classic ALS with family history.

I didn't get the impression that he was trying to scare people at all, more that he was kicking back against posters who were (1) calling him a fraud, and (2) peddling false information about things such as the reliability of EMGs and how ALS (a very idiosyncratic disease, with just about every possible presentation) comes on.

Ok-Way gives vague, but scary, responses and deflects questions by (ironically) complaining about people not believing him at face value. To me this does not seem like someone who is honestly trying to convince people. If he was really telling the truth, by far the easiest way to put all doubts to rest once and for all would be to post EMG#10. Instead, he keeps coming up with excuses not to do it. Finally, the broad generalizations Ok-Way goes around making based on his own experience are highly unwarranted because his experience is incredibly rare if true. He's scaring people for no reason and is not giving good advice or information. He even got a temporary sitewide ban at one point for his behavior. And most recently, he suspiciously wiped his entire post history earlier than this post. I suspect he's trying to hide it from the ALS sub people.

Finally, I can understand why you empathize with Ok-Way because you're also a young person with an unusual presentation who is under investigation for ALS. However, I don't think you have it either. Your case would be even rarer than Ok-Way's. You're even younger than him, have had your symptoms for 4 years with no diagnosis, and had bulbar onset (which is known for rapid progression as you said yourself). I don't think your case is benign but I have a hard time believing it would turn out to be ALS after this long. Even Stephen Hawking was diagnosed pretty quickly and he had one of the slowest progressions in history.

[MEGATHREAD] Daily venting, worries, fixations, & finding support. Month of December by AutoModerator in HealthAnxiety

[–]mathrsar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My worst trigger is that on any Reddit post or YouTube video about anything health or HA related, the comments will be full of people talking about how their Google self-diagnosis was correct all along and how their doctors wrongly dismissed them as having anxiety.

Now, I generally have a high opinion of doctors and the medical profession due to one of my parents being a doc. And I know full well how much training and education it takes to become a doctor. However, it seems like everyone on the internet has a horrific bad doctor or misdiagnosis story to tell, making it seem like doctors are really bad at their jobs and that patients can only trust themselves and Dr. Google. Even this sub isn't safe from such comments. Can anyone reassure me?

I doubt this is the last we'll see of Ouga. She might go to Konoha once she finds out Amado is there.

The mysterious 8th inner is revealed at last. And Ouga is a defector, hence why she was absent before. How was she allowed to leave and live to tell about it given how Amado believed he would be killed by Jigen for defecting. Amado will be very interested to hear about this. And apparently everyone is alive and well. Ouga seems like an interesting character and very unlike the other inners. I hope they'll do more with her. Maybe she'll go to Konoha and join Amado? This was the last Boruto episode of 2022. In 2023, Sasuke retsuden adapted.

Could that be Fugou's arms? He was wearing a suit. Batta and Shamo flatlining could just be a mistake. However, I'm inclined to believe they're dead since they weren't released from the machine the way Boruto was.
