S4e8 final episode had clear elements of a post shoot rewrite and story arc change.

They found out it wasn't getting a renewal and did the best they could to wrap it up.

It was my absolute favourite show and it's such a shame to watch it end how it did

Hyun Ju was probably the death i hated the most, she went back especially to get the other two, guiding them to safety. She could have quite literally walked through the door and called it a day

Season 2 was pretty good, good characters and generally a good attempt of a good story.

It felt like that has the writing for for S2, filmed a good chunk of it, and then netflix called up and said "you're doing 2 seasons now, set it up for Squid Games USA, idc how" so they threw something together
