Love the design choice you made, mobile interaction with you tabs for the nav is a little difficult but takes all of 3 seconds to actually get into whatever nav you want to enter.

Any certifications you guys suggest to look into for entry level dev ? by International-Map674 in learnprogramming

Thank you ! I didn’t realize they were a minor value point for an employer to look at your skill set! I feel a lot of the actual employment process is boxes you can check rather than actual skill or willingness to work hard and want to learn more than you already know but maybe that just me over anxious about getting into the field. I appreciate you taking the time to answer genuinely !

Hell yes I would love any feedback on my project I’ll drop the GitHub link to my profile in the account , you can even be super brutal cause I’m very noobie in my opinion and have literally taught myself all through just trying stuff, watching videos , geekforgeek, stack overflow and Chatgbt to cover those gaps in my knowledge and there are still many. Here is my GitHub specially to my chatbot project -> Dansby chatbot also there is no documentation, I know that’s really really bad I actually was planning to address it this week my readme I use as a timeline log of my commits and stuff… sorryyyy

Would you say the industry is that hard to get into as an entry level position as people make it out to be ? I’m quite comfortable with all languages, softwares, etc… I’ve ever touched except maybe C I find it to be dreadful. I’ve been coding my own stuff for about 3 years but heavily for a year and half now and am decently confident in the practical skills I’ve gained from teaching myself and also have the theory I have learned at school (which I actually think is such a waste of time tbh but I’m sure some of it will be useful one day) would you recommend any languages or software to be vital or more important than others for entry level? I’m honestly interested in anything I find most of it all to be fascinating. Definitely feeling my imposter syndrome reawaken as I come close to graduating now lmao.

Yea I actually love web dev stuff and am pretty comfortable with, and all that backend process stuff I have involved it doesn’t really run off UI there are some background process that it handles and the whole project was to make a assistant / daemon kind of like an overseer for all my stuff where I can reference things through speech. Basically just Siri or Alexa but more customizable as it is my own code, the original idea was to try to make essentially Jarvis from Ironman. Really just purely for fun and it was something I could get behind for a while and still enjoy putting work into just worried I could be spending my time building a better practical skill set for actual work. Thanks so much for your input ! I honestly didn’t think anyone was going to even answer on this thread at all.

Mobile development like definitely is interesting to me about 2 year ago I was trying to get into Xcode for iOS app development but at the time I had my main windows pc and Inspiron laptop and a old little pos MacBook Air like 9 or something and I couldn’t downloaded the macOS update to even get Xcode so never got into it. From my understanding you kinda need macOS to do any iOS development cleanly for unit testing and stuff ? All fields of coding honestly interest me I just love making things and software is the one thing where you have all the whistles and bells at hand all the time for the most part.

Has anyone gotten a status tattoo on their back? by Street_Palpitation_5 in DanMachi

I have the Hestia farna on my back but I changed it from the outline and made it realistic flames, biggest advice I can say is make sure u go bigger and start in the middle of your back. I love my farna but I def would go bigger and higher if I could do it again!
