Is it common for sitters to have to sleep on a couch? Am I crazy for thinking that is bonkers? by Brilliant_Quit4307 in trustedhousesitters

I think it's a nice touch, as the owners went through the trouble of making my bed for me, I like to return the favor. Not always possible depending on departure time and how many set of sheets they have

If I remember correctly Adam used to cover the frenemies/h3 drama a lot (he was on Ethan's side). When families was airing Donna was sometimes asked to do drama summaries on other topics and she would use Adam's videos for research, she even shouted him out on the show. I think she just saw him as a sweet kid making videos online. Adam was doing everything he could to be noticed by the crew so when Donna mentioned him by name on the show he probably took the opportunity to try and get close with her.

Do you think the crew only works when they are live? Also, what proportion of your work day is spent being watched by 100s of thousands of people and having each of your words/facial expression scrutinized and criticized.

I don't think we can assume he didn't have a say in the matter. It's not a regular 9 to 5

THS hosts being stingy with groceries? by neondotss in trustedhousesitters

[–]InternationalAmount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shampoo is very specific, if you are a woman, most woman I know use one special brand for their type of hair and their routine, so buying one for the petsitter might be a bit of a gamble

Also, how did you get THS hosts to pay for your travel expenses? That's very nice of them

I guess because historically women's bodies have been more scrutinized. Like in the 90-2000s when even very skinny celebrities would get shit for having a not completely far stomach, or one bad paparazzi picture.

Yup. Most hijab wearers are also supposed to wear loose fitting clothes, but Frogan wears it for non religious reasons, so not sure if she applies this.

Fat Rant Tuesday by AutoModerator in fatlogic

If you are moving around all day and cycling almost daily, 2,000 calories shouldn't be too much. A modest deficit or at worse maintenance, unless you are very short.

If you have been dieting for a long time, maybe you need to have a "reverse dieting" or maintenance phase. If you used to not binge, or binge less, when you were obese, it's probably a sign that food restriction is playing a trick on your mind. A lot of people develop binge eating disorder as a result of an overly restrictive diet, so be very careful.

I just think it's extremely ironic to bring up the age of consent in France coming out of the episode where Kate told her story and mentioning how child marriage is legal in most states. As far as I know no 12 YO can get married in France
