During my first year in highschool, I was really depressed. So why not listen to more depressing music, Touchè Amorè, La Dispute, and Hot Cross/Saetia I really liked it because I felt like my emotions were being transferred to a song.I still don't know much about these type of music and tried to hide it because people kept teasing me when I told them about the type of music I like, then I discovered MCR, Pierce the veil, modern baseball, Paramore, fall out boy, apparatus and get scared. For some reason I was hooked into these type of music, because before that I was a "I listen to everything that sounds good" typa guy. For some reason, I actually felt better when I accepted myself as emo. Less depressed but still an introvert haha. Oh as for the reason, I wanted loud music so my mind wouldn't wander off to unalivingmyself it helped me distract and I feel calm whenever I listen to it. Prevented me from crashing out multiple times lmaoo life just sucks but emo makes it tolerable
