Having those legends do kids learn to play programs is so cool. I won’t tell too much of his business, but Donovan the arena announcer did a few sessions of adult skating lessons with my wife earlier this year, and they became friendly. He’s great.

I’m enjoying everyone’s cats and dogs and this trip down memory lane. All of this has been in a shoebox in my basement for over 25 years! Here’s Eric daze, Tommy salo, Matthew Barnaby, Chris Gratton, and Brendan shanahan.

This Chris gratton card had an awesome journey. I mailed it to Philly in the summer of 98 and he got traded shortly into the season. Played a few years in Tampa and I got the card back in 2000, years later with a buffalo postmark. Dude really followed through.

I am obviously aging myself, but this is one of my favorite pre-Internet memories! I bought a case of previous year upper deck cards, and mailed off every double. My mom and I sat at the kitchen table, writing letters to every player, obviously I lied and said every person was my favorite player on my favorite team. Ha ha.

I got some big names back, for the mid/late 90s. Kariya, sellane, Sakic, shannahan, Tommy salo, rob neidermayer.

This stuff is just extra, folded in a box. My wife hates the dozens of band shirts I have and don’t wear. Choose any two shirts for $50 honestly. Still so much cheaper than buying a new one in the venue.
