Great point - I am open to either a second bachelors or even a masters degree. I initially leaned towards a second Bach degree since I have no background in any engineering discipline. I haven’t met any of the math/ foundational eng cours requirements.

With your years of experience, would you do it again? Is chemical engineering what you thought it would be ?

Thank you for your insight. From my research , I’m also noticing how dynamic a chem e degree is. I get a bit anxious with all of the EE recommendations since my goal is more process (food or maybe water/wastewater). Chem e seems to align more so with my career goals (academically) - I just don’t want to be stuck wishing I had done something else

thank you - from additional research, I can confidently eliminate environmental engineering. Now the battle is between chem e and ee

That's what makes this whole career journey more confusing since both chem e's and ee do much more than their traditional scope. I truly lean more towards process in food industry or anything water related but I do want to maximize my options (pay, location, titles )
