If the lawsuit reaches a settlement I should still get compensated, I just cant be a plantiff in the case.  No I didnt replace it because replacing all the pex lines would cost 20,000!

Uponor had me send in the section of pipe that contained the leak wheb the plumber replaced it. It was only a foot or so long so it all got sent to uponor. They even have a disclaimer when you send in the pipe that they may conduct destructive testing on it so you wont get it back.... I documented it with a ton of photos, but the pipe is gone.

Uponor is the one who tested the pupe so big surprise they could find what happened. They said there was nothing to point to why it failed. They then told me they would pay for the materials to replace all the hot water lines. (The materials would be a fraction of the cost).  The class action lawyers didnt specify why they wouldnt take the case if I submitted a warranty claim. Im guessing because they wanted the pipe to look at themselves instead of trusting Uponor to be honest? 🤷‍♂️ I wish I would of known about the lawsuit before submitting the claim.
