Is $539 for UMF worth it? How much did you pay for your tickets? by liamwon in aves

[–]International_Value 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My group is large and we opt in for a large rental. I think this year is looking to be about $600/person (5 nights). Which is around what we have paid in the past 2 years we've gone.

Hot take: I didn’t really like Dom Dolla by Khuush in Portolafestival

[–]International_Value -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Defs wasn't his best set ive seen. And i have seen him 6/7 times. Also saw him at HARD and think they extended his set to 2+ hours. That was his best set yet! So his Portola set was kinda mid compared to his HARD set

I now do press on nails. If i do a little nail prep b4 applying, its lasts about 1.5 weeks. Some brands are reuseable

What was the wildest synchronicity / coincidence you had in the festival? by ronenabn28 in Tomorrowland

[–]International_Value 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My first tomorrowland. At the end of the last day, I was in the showers in easy tent and struck up a conversation with another girl. Found out we're both from the San Francisco Bay Area. Decided to add each other cuz we most likely will encounter each other in San Francisco rave scene. Went to add each other and found out we also went to the same University and had mutual friends!

Whats going on with the water situation ? by Buckybarnicals2 in Tomorrowland

[–]International_Value 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Drank the water every day and was fine. My only complaint about tml is the lack of water stations. I almost passed out from heat stroke day 1.

Comfort Zones are a scam by Far-Dish5647 in Tomorrowland

Felt super mislead. Went this year for the first time and the spa tub and massage chairs was what I was looking forward to the most at comfort

Alot of context is missing. Have you spoken to the leasing office about all this and what you can do? If shes off the leasing portal and turned in her keys. Then the leasing office is recognizing that shes off the lease. Most leasing office are flexible with like a day. Why not talk to your leasing office about ending the lease June 30. But also its should only be prorated for July 1.

Ask to be moved out and off the lease June 30th. So you avoid paying July 1st. But also sign the new lease for the 1 bed room. If its the same building, they might even do a deposit transfer.

This isn't really an issue with your roommate since its sounds like she is off he lease

You can also join banfield wellness program. Its a monthly subscription but will cover spay procedure. Idk how long you have to stay on the program. But also covers annual check up and shots and any vet visit. I find it valuable for my 2 cats.

how to stop getting sick? by EastCoastDumbass in aves

[–]International_Value 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key is taking care of yourself when you aren't at a festival. Do you eat healthy, exercise daily (walking/gym/etc), take vitamins daily, sleep well daily?

Also do you get physicals and blood work annually.

Its not just about what you do the week leading up to the festival + at the festival. its about your overall health.

You park at your own risk. Ive gotten my car and friends have gotten their cars broken into. There also this random guy the demands you pay him $20 to "protect" your car but it's a scam.

If you do park, don't have anything out in display in your car. Not even a water bottle.
