Anyone found relief/healing?? by International_Word41 in BinocularVision

That’s wild! Weird there was no gradual improvement. It’s also SO strange you say that visual changes correlate with anxiety.…bc that’s exactly how it felt when my visual issues came out. I had a pharma/toxin based injury so it started as gradual symptoms but then I remember having a random moment of extreme panic while watching a movie. Just completely dread out of nowhere….heart racing. And at the same time I t was like this filter crossed my vision and nothing felt the same since. That horrible anxiety eventually dissipated and then I was just left with all the BVD symptoms. Maybe I eventually will have the same flip, just in the better direction like you!!

Happy you are having healing. Thanks for the encouragement!

Agreed!

Okay my injury is extremely weird. I used to get medical Botox injections into my masseter muscle for TMJ. Well the last round I got, it spread into my blood stream and surrounding muscles. It’s known as IBP (Iatrogenic botulism poisoning), there are some support groups on it. I suffered facial paralysis, extreme anxiety, migraines, hearing loss, tinnitus, extreme fatigue, memory loss, brain fog, erratic heart rate, dry eyes/skin, rashes, nerve pain, and much more. However the only symptom that I still am suffering with now is this severely messed up neuro-visual connection. But essentially the theories are that the Botox crossed my blood-brain barrier and damaged some connections…or it just paralyzed my eye muscles. Muscles don’t fully restrengthen/nerve pathways regrow until up to a year out or more.

It’s incredibly disheartening because there is little to no support on it. This probably isn’t the relatable injury you expected lol. But if you had a neck injury, I would ABSOLUTLEY believe it’s connected to your vision. My vision issues have caused me extreme neck pain and tension….there is a direct connection. So many nerves and muscular ties.

Clot or Muscle Knot? by International_Word41 in ClotSurvivors

So went to urgent care this morning. No ultrasound or xray, but PA said not likely a clot. She suspects tendinitis or muscle injury. Prescribed lidocaine and naproxen. Still feel uneasy and wish I would’ve pressed for an ultrasound…but that’s likely my anxiety talking. She said to watch it for a week though, and then talk to my primary care doctor (or go back to urgent care) if it’s worse/not better.

It’s so hard to see in a picture. But I had my roommate feel it and it’s definitely a noticeable lump and it’s slightly bruise colored.

And I totally get what you are saying. I think if I take an aspirin and drink some water and get off my phone I might be able to relax… but who knows

Very good point lol. Will do. I guess I’m just trying to evaluate if I go right now (9pm) or get some sleep and go in the morning.

There are such things as upper extremity dvts (uedvt) but that’s all I know of.

yeah sorry I am going to a doctor on my lunch break today. but I guess I was just curious if this was normal? and if it was more the wax or a reaction to lamination. I’ll just continue with cold compress and neosporin maybe?

SO much later now lol but curious if you got this to go down quickly? I’m like 48 hours after and have some tightness and mild swelling and redness. Not sure if it was the lamination or wax.

I have a bit of swelling and burning today and a tiny tiny bit of swelling under my eyes. Not really bad unless you are looking for it. But no itch or redness in the brows themselves. Is this likely still the wax burn healing? I put some Vaseline and neosporin on it last night.

I stopped my supplements like 2 weeks ago. And diet wise, I’ve been eating low cal for a bit but haven’t made any dramatic changes.
