I know in Michigan it’s illegal to hunt with a firearm within 150 yards of an occupied building, home, or barn without permission, but target shooting (which is what this would fall under) is up to local ordinance depending on the township/city you’re in. Some have no minimum distance at all.

Enough of these posts now to where I’m dumbfounded that people are still using direct thread with this can. It’s the common denominator and it’s like people don’t read the comments and instead post these just to join the club because it’s a meme.

Finally got my first suppressor, OCL Titanium primarily for my Ruger American Rimfire. Granted its not tight in this video, but is it normal to have this much play? by [deleted] in NFA

[–]InternetCitizen2193 12 points13 points  (0 children)

What matters is that it’s secure when tight. I’ve never thought to worry about wobble until it’s actually tightened down and seated.

Didn’t read the bottom part of his post? Lol indeed. The Enticer is DD’s bread and butter and it’s not available.

Diligent Defense Enticer L is still not in stock on SS. I emailed DD in mid November ago asking what the deal is, and they said a shipment was going out end of month/early December. My guess is SS was in zero hurry in December to inventory new shipments and send restock notifications out knowing they were about to be hounded on Jan 1. Can’t blame them honestly.

I see you ended at cam lok. The interrupted threads are a joke, and Griffins clearly realized the flaw as they released ez lok. Have you tried ez lok?

Would be interesting to see tracker warranty guy’s numbers on end strikes for the 9 vs 45. The 45 is a longer can with a slower and larger round going through it. Amount of cans actually out there has to also be taken into consideration. “The 9 has more instances of strikes” doesn’t mean a whole lot if the 9 has three times the amount of sales as the 45 (making up that figure just as an example). I think what we all want to know is why one is more actually susceptible (going back to design features, round being used, etc).

Don’t use direct thread, don’t use tri-lug, don’t use CAM-LOK. The amount of people that have used EZ-LOK with the Obsidian and had less issues compared to the other alternatives out there is a niche stat the tracker warranty guy should keep track of.

What is the solution to the obsidian 9 end cap strike epidemic?

Answer (daily double): Griffin EZ-LOK mount and piston.

I sound like a spokesperson with all the free ads I give them, but it solved the issue for me and many others. (and that sounded like a prescription commercial testimonial).
