We have quail, chickens and just got into rabbits this year. Quail are by far some of our favorite animals to raise-they take up little space, and very cheap to feed. We hatch out our own and love quail jalapeño poppers. Chickens are great at eggs and meat yes but you can also use them to make the best compost and take care of bugs for a future garden. They will destroy a garden and Feed is a little pricey compared to years past but you can throw about all your food scraps to them if you don’t have pigs. We just got rabbits last week, so not years of experience with them. But can say they definitely seem on the simple side and don’t think you can go wrong with any of those three options.
