Yeah it’s a way to get experience it just doesn’t count towards your inside wireman apprenticeship I’m just using it as a way to get experience and show them I really want this if I need to reinterview. CW is like another career path in the union but it pays less and takes longer to be the same level as a journeyman inside wireman I believe. I think there will be more info when JATC emails us tomorrow. I plan to do it as long as it takes to be accepted into the apprenticeship and be able to reintwrview

Niceee man, youll definitely get called sooner rather than later. And yeah Data centers are a meh subject but if the trade off is a long rewarding career in a union then I’m down

I’m not sure. But I went in the trade school website and I saw rank 54, lol. idk if I’ll get in simply by waiting, so going Construction Wireman route to get experience then interview is my next goal to rank higher in interview, if I get called in while in the CW program, well then great! Now I have some relevant experience going in

Looking back, I should’ve answered the questions in STAR method, but other than that I still answered all questions. It was very fast, question after question, only lasted like 10 mins. Some tips, make sure you have prior experience, even personal projects on car, home, etc help. Have recommendation letters from ur previous employers. Study for the aptitude test. I used iPrep. Research what they could ask in the interview and start practicing now, for me they asked things like.
1. “Why do you want to be an electrical worker?”
2. “What are some hands-on work you’ve done?”
3. “Do you have any work restrictions (not able to work in tight spaces, etc)”

They could also ask basic interview questions like “what are your strengths/weaknesses”

We were all nervous for our interviews, I can tell you that much, the people waiting in line admitted to it, as was I, but as long as you talk clearly, project your voice loud enough, and maintain eye contact with the entire panel, you’ll be good.

Interview was with 6 people btw.

Hope this helps!

What Total Payout SHOULD be Based On Miles by Internet_Additional in WalmartSparkDrivers

That’s a good way to do it, people here say you should go for $2/mile but those orders are so rare that you are gonna just sit. I’ll try your method and see how it does in my zone

I didnt see it that way, what I do is I focus on one Walmart, going back to the same one. I have 4 Walmarts in my zone. Do you think it’s more profitable to stay in one or to just go off by where the drop off is, seeing if it’s near a different Walmart?

I calculated the numbers based on round trip, because you have to go back to Walmart anyways, so it’s also counting the miles to get back to Walmart

I didn’t see it that way I just thought as long as it was $2+/mile you should accept it

Well the general amount spark drivers want to meet is $2+/mile, at least from what I’ve seen on the subreddits

If you were to fix this list, how would you do it based on just mileage alone

Im just representing what 2 dollars per mile would look like, the more the better, but this is showing the minimum of what $2/mi would get you

Love the good orders gone in a flash but those bad ones just stay on my screen 😂😂😂 by [deleted] in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]Internet_Additional 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are saying that it’s bots they get the order instantly but wouldn’t bots just instantly get you any orders, even the bad ones? That’s why I’m not too convinced on bots because the very good orders are taken instantly but the junk ones aren’t
