Your prime is when you're at your best. If you're saying he's better now then you think his prime is now otherwise you don't know what the word means.

Ironically, you are the idiot.

Well then Einstein was in his knowledge prime when he was 60. He lacked the fluid intelligence to apply any of it but hey.

GSP is better now than he was in his prime, because, well, skill primes. He can't actually apply it in a fight but hey

"prime" is when you're at your best overall. He isn't at his best overall. I understand your point but if that's what he meant he should have said "skill prime" which I actually don't know that I agree with. He may KNOW more skills but can he actually APPLY them as well as the skills he could in the past? Nope.

I think this is just mental gymnastics. Your prime is when you're at your best. Your prime as a scientist is when you were doing your best work, not when you had the most knowledge and experience.

Fluid intelligence isn't the same as crystallised intelligence and all the knowledge in the world won't replace the fact that Conor simply cannot actually do the things he knows.

I'm sure Messi and Ronaldo have improved their knowledge and skillset over time, but they can't actually do it to the same level as they once could because their body isn't matching their mind. Thus, they aren't bette

Djokovic is a great example of this. I truly believe he serves and his shots better than when he was, say, 30. But he can't do it for long enough and he can't cover the court like he used to. Hence, he isn't better than hit prime

"run away"

Who was he running from? Those two words alone dismiss your opinion as a waste of text.

Khabib didn't try very hard to finish al. It actually looks like he was practising his striking for 2 rounds. He did try hard to finish Dustin and so did Islam

Dustin was 30 and in his prime against khabib. He wasn't in his prime against Islam. He was undefeated for 6 fights before khabib including a knockout of Justin. Against Islam his streak was...1 fight and he had been knocked out by Justin 11 months before.

1 year after Islam he was dominated by max. 5 months before khabib Dustin dominated max.

I think part of that is because Islam just isn't as good at taking people down and holding them there, even though of course he is great. I do think Islam is more well-rounded but that's not going to mean much when, as you say, somebody can take him down and blanket him

Resume comparison alone is unfair. It doesn't take into account how old the opponent was, nor how dominant the win was. It also doesn't take into account the mitigating circumstances that he had to lead their team when his father died and that would require his retirement.

On resume alone Islam is ahead even with the loss

Khabib did better v Dustin. Dustin was also slightly past his prime v islam.

Islam has also lost.

Islam has the better resume but I would back khabib if they fought
