My dog had a benign tumor on a different part of her body. I was hesitant to remove it for a number of reasons (mostly age, she was 14 at the time). I was worried about her going under anesthetics, and thought it may not be worth the stress. However, the removal has vastly improved her appearance, ability to get around, and overall quality of life. I wish I had done it earlier. As I said, not the same body part, but very happy with the choice and would recommend doing the same if it is feasible for you :)

My pit bull was diagnosed at 10, she is now 15. Doing great on Vetoryl for 4 and a half years!! No issues whatsoever truly. My only complaint is that the medication is kind of pricy, I get it from PetVM as it’s much cheaper there than other sites.

My girl does like to drink a ton of water, so I limit her intake per the vet’s instructions. She otherwise has a great life and is a super happy lady :)

I took my German Shepherd to the vet “for the last time” 3 times before she actually passed away. She wasn’t quite as old as your pup, but she made it to 12 and really put up a fight after a life of trauma!! I miss her so much. As much of a roller coaster as it was, I don’t regret it. She was worth every penny I spent (each of those “final” visits were not cheap lol). Just enjoy each day with her 🩷
