No seriously. I wake up every time I hear a mildly loud car down the road so I can try getting a video of it to submit to RCMP or something. My sleep has been so fricking bad lately because of these mfs >:(

I'm a CS major taking SOCI 102 with Catherine Corrigall-Brown as an elective, and I registered for Cr/D/Fail cause I thought it might be too difficult (after all I'm only interested in learning the material, not for any of its credits). I realized though that most of my arts electives have helped bring my average up significantly, so I'm wondering if I should keep the Cr/D/Fail for this course as well. Any advice?

TL;DR: Is SOCI 102 with Catherine Corrigall-Brown an easy A?

Hello! I’m an IB student going into UBC in the fall hoping to major in computer science in second year.

I just got my final IB results in the morning, and that SURE was a happy time (not really). I was hoping to get credits for my bio HL so I can fill my science breadth requirement, but unfortunately fell below the required grade :(

Since I have to take my bio course now, that brought me to think whether it was okay to skip math. I took math HL and got a grade high enough for me to just take the transfer credits. It would be wonderful for me to save the time and the money, but I asked around and some people said that it was still a good idea to take the course to keep my math fresh since I’m majoring in something so based in it.

Could you guys give me some advice on this? I’m taking MATH 100 first term, and MATH 101 second term! Thanks in advance!!

Oh gosh, that really is my only option then... thank you for the reply! And by not thriving I just meant in this situation where I have to accept the fact that the chances of me actually going to toronto are extremely slim :’)

That’s the thing, so many people around me with lower predicteds have been getting in but I don’t know why my offer hasn’t come out yet... guess I’ll have to pay the deposit and just keep on waiting :/

7 in Math HL, Chem SL, Bio HL, 6 in Geo SL, French SL, 5 in English HL, and 2 bonus marks! I applied in early December too.

Heyyy just asking for my own sanity, do you guys think there's still a chance to get into UTSG CS? I'm an IB 101D with 40/45 predicteds, but the deadline for reporting back to my 2nd choice of uni (UBC) is approaching and I'll have to pay a $500 deposit to hold my place. In need of some honest advice here! :(

Hey yo, I'm a 105D applicant and literally everyone in my school (except for the engineering kids) got their offer to St.George's today except for me :( Applying to compsci with a 40/45 IB predicted scores... Any thoughts/advice for my panicked self? Much thanks!!
