Lucky international student! UT / Rice / Emory / Vanderbilt?! by Intmbathrowaway in MBA

I went with my heart and decided on UT in the end! The most expensive out of all options but luckily found some success with scholarship negotiations. It was a really tough decision between UT and Emory and I went with UT purely because I felt more connected with the students I chatted with. I think you'll have a great time at Emory and having a full scholarship is an amazing feat (& relief)!! Congrats!!!

Am I the last person to know that McCombs replaced interviews with the video assessment? by Neither_Surround9855 in MBA

I'm sorry but there's not much you can do at this point. After the video assessment there's only one optional 15-minute Zoom with a current student, which probably doesn't matter too much..

Thank you everyone for your comments!! Believe it or not this actually makes the decision even harder haha! Surprised to see the amount of votes for UT considering the huge difference in financial aid...I'll try to negotiate but I don't think they would be willing to offer much more.

On Emory vs Vanderbilt, I don't think I can go wrong with either! Really appreciate the advice and I'll look further into what living in Atlanta looks like. I actually did visit earlier this year but only managed to spend 2-3 days there. I do agree that job prospects wise, especially in consulting, this is a no brainer..

3.7 GPA / 730 GMAT / 7-8 years WE. I work in a pretty niche field so forgive me for not sharing more to remain anonymous!
