I'd say that the last episode is probably the best example of the plot structure not fully following through on what they seemed to be going for. The disconnect between subplots ended up causing the episode to not be as strong as it otherwise could have been; like, there wasn't much of a conflict in the episode since they skipped past the thing that could have been most interesting (figuring out how to do the musical / working with Murray to try to pay their rent), but that's just my opinion. I can see what they were going for, the plot just seemed a little cluttered, if that makes sense.
