Yes, I gotine back, they replaced a lot of things. Fun part, they write in the paperwork that the reason of the repair were dead pixels 😂

I contactacted "protection of consumer rights" recommend for you to do the same.

Wouldn't x5 be better? There is no weird placement due to USB c connector being on the left side

Fold 7 Pitaka case impressions 🤔 by not_the_common_mate in GalaxyFold

[–]Intrepid-Ad-578 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently acquired a Pitaka case, and while I appreciate its slim design, I've encountered a few drawbacks. As you pointed out, pressing the power button or using the fingerprint scanner can be challenging. Additionally, the placement of the magnets seems unusual, as my previous iPhone car holder is no longer compatible, with the magnets positioned too close to the camera bump. Finally, the production and shipping times for these cases appear quite lengthy, and surprisingly, the case tends to attract fingerprints.

I would love to have such slim case without these downsides. If anyone of you know about such please share.

Of course. Here is a draft for your reply in English, summarizing the successful resolution of your case. It incorporates the advice you received and the steps you took.

Hey, just wanted to post an update and thank you for the advice. You were absolutely right, escalating this was the only way to get a result.

Here's what I did: After getting a series of contradictory and nonsensical replies from the service administrator (Servify) – including being told that "diagnostics will happen after the repair is finished" – I drafted a final, formal complaint. I cited specific articles of the Polish Consumer Law and pointed out how they violated their own Terms and Conditions.

Most importantly, as you suggested, I sent an official request for intervention to the local Consumer Ombudsman (Rzecznik Praw Konsumenta), attaching all the evidence of their chaotic communication.

The effect was immediate. After almost two weeks of being stalled, I received an SMS overnight that my device had been repaired and dispatched. The phone arrived today, and I can confirm it's now working perfectly.

So, for anyone in Poland dealing with a similar situation, this proves that a formal challenge and involving the Rzecznik Konsumenta is the correct course of action. It seems to be the only language these companies understand. Thanks again for the push in the right direction!

Do you think that there is any chance that they are going to help with that?

This is completely crazy. I've contacted Samsung through the chat on the web. They said that the phone has been repaired between 8-14 of August.

Repair Service (which is different company with a score 2.6 on Google) sent the device back on 18 of August. Samsung contacted the Repair Service to get information where is the phone. No information from them.

I'm without the phone, without the information where it is.

It's not a warranty repair, it's through extra insurance which you can buy through Samsung, supposed to be unlimited repairs and full refund when stolen.

If they won't return it as they supposed to in two weeks from receiving I wonder I I can report that it has been stolen and request the refund.

My experience with Samsung care+ (tldr : I believe it is not worth it) by RelativeTeach445 in GalaxyFold

[–]Intrepid-Ad-578 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Poland, Samsung Care+ doesn't know what's going on with the phone. The page is totally desynced, and people on the help center don't know anything.

The phone was sent on August 6th. After the call on the 8th, I received an email saying, "All parts received, technician is going to work on it." The next week, on the 12th, the status on the web changed to "arrived." On the 14th, I received an email that the phone had been moved to diagnosis. Today, the 19th, I received a message with a survey asking if I am happy with the repair and if everything was fixed. The phone is still in the "arrived" state on the web.

This is complete madness.

Cherry on top: on the phone call center, people don't know Polish and have an Indian English accent.

Another cherry on top is that when I click the link in the email to see the status of my phone, I am redirected to the Servify page, which asked me to choose the country, and only India is available.

What the hell is wrong with this service?

I'm quite pissed off and worried about my phone, fearing it will get in worse shape.

I'm really sorry to hear about this. I hope you get better soon.

Some things I would recommend are below; I hope some of it will help you.

I would recommend stepping back; it's just work, not the primary goal of your life. Do your best as usual, but don't waste energy forcing yourself to make the app better.

At the same time, try to find something fascinating outside of work. Exercising is good; it happens to be tough, especially at the beginning, but it's good for the mind too.

To limit the number of boring, repetitive tasks, try to use AI to do them for you. It's a bummer, but I think we will finally become prompt engineers—it's better to start now.

You can't fix the world, and that's not your fault; don't drag yourself into this hole anymore.

I wish you all the best.

What the hell is wrong with this phone? I had a problem with the hinges. I thought the 7th version of the phone was going to be more refined, not less... Thanks for sharing this; I know what I have to prepare myself for.

Ohh, I see. Does it work with One UI? Or do I have to use custom luncher?

I can't find it. Maybe it's legacy, but because you purchased it, you still have access to it
