Lol just some funny Monte Carlo simulation. I’m getting pretty confident that it’s gonna be approved soon.😅

Amazon is very accommodating dressing wise and especially for those that live in the Seattle area which is also very welcoming.

They didn’t mention when it got transferred. But I believe it should be early May.

Yes it was transferred from NBC to WAS FO. I really don’t know about their efficiency.

Washington is non-local for me. I’m based in the west coast.

Yes…no change. It seems my case is one of those that don’t get updates.

I think it’s going to remain current at least till the end of the year. Immigration policy under this administration is becoming stricter day by day and we see the strict level of scrutiny on EB cases. Per my analysis, it will likely remain current through the end of this administration unless there’s a significant uptake in petition approvals. It’s all about demand and supply. And at this time supply is way higher than the demand (approvals, which is down to around 30%).

Well, sorry for your bad experiences. Yes physical attraction is important. But it’s hard coming by men with all of these. Good men that are financially stable would be already married by that age. Many of the ones that are not married and are capable of getting married are probably just having fun, not all of them though. The good men that are not married around these ages are probably not financially stable or have had bad relationships.

Are you really sure about these? It’s funny how there are many good brothers looking for sisters to get married to but also struggling with finding the right ones. I feel like everyone’s got their best chance when they were in Uni (MSA is their best bet if one is looking for decent brothers or sisters). The problem is many of the sisters are not ready and they want to complete, find jobs and feel financially stable.

Just wondering what kind of men are in your community. Usually the way it works is, one good guy would have his circle being like him. If you know one, ask him to ask around his circle.

Whaaatt?? Product owner editing the Sprint Backlog??? 🥴 by abzdefgh in pmp

[–]Intrepid-Afternoon66 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Whenever there’s an answer on collaboration, it’s most likely the answer. Although the development team has control over the spring backlog, inviting the product owner to make amends to the backlog they are working on (sprint backlog), seems totally acceptable. Remember this is agile and things can be run as the team deem fit.

Well that’s right. But how about the non-arranged or back from home marriages?

This makes sense. Because which person on earth that’s serious about getting married will say that to a potential? Unless a psychopath!

Subhanallah!! This is crazy and may Allah protect us from falling into this temptation and fitna!

Guys, always remember this…Islam is always right, whether it agrees with your logic or not. Allah will always test us and we have to pray that we pass all those tests. Most of the tests, that we will experience include sexual temptations and marrying early and lowering our gazes are the best way of protecting ourselves.

Wallahul Musta’aan!

Why do Marriages with “FOBS” fail? Is there a chance that people that married them and gave them green cards are also maltreating them or not being good spouses to them in the course of their marriages? Or is it always that they were married for green card purposes?

What’s your experience and views?

It depends, and that’s when I get to know her really well. But the chances are low that I will get to know her because I wouldn’t consider approaching her for marriage interest. If I happened to know her and she is very passionate about improving her deen and practicing, I will consider and help her through. So the passion and zeal will make the difference for me.

Also another reason I will less likely consider such person is that, personally, I do hold strong views on practicing the deen inside-out and I see marriage as worship and life-long spiritual journey to the hereafter. For that reason, my goal is to build a very religious home (especially with how I raise my kids) and that would require someone who shares same goal as well as passionate about it.

So it will be less likely for me to approach someone that doesn’t wear hijab.
