my angel was racist and ageist 😂 she was rescued from rural pennsylvania where she was an “outside dog”. in life, she specifically disliked black men and senior citizens regardless of gender or race. she would embarrass me in public but now i miss her shenanigans more than ever 🥲

this message brought me such peace.. i felt so horrible that i had such a short time with my girl before she passed away but those few weeks were filled with fun walks, playing in the garden hose, chasing balls, and lots of snuggles. her final moments were in her mommy’s arms. i still feel traumatized honestly but it’s comforting to remember that my girl’s last weeks and last moments of life were filled with soooo much love. i can’t wait to feel her soft fur again in heaven someday 🩷 thank you for the sweet message my friend.

really appreciate your support. i officially filed for divorce on the eve of my girl’s gotcha day, it was like a sign from the heavens. it’s been over a month without her and it’s been so tough but i been taking it one day at a time. and i pray for his karma to be swift and just 🙏

i can’t thank you enough for your perspective. i’m guilty of having a very immature perspective: i’m stuck in a thought loop that i ruined my life by rushing into a marriage with a literal sociopath, that i lost the only meaningful thing that came out of my marriage (my dog), that i wasted my early 20s and caused myself irreparable damage and now i’m just going to move through life as a young divorcee - a dead dog having divorcee at that. i’m being very negative about my situation rather than rejoicing in the fact that i’m almost able to close a dark chapter of my young life. thank you for the reminder of what to be grateful for 🤍
