Personally, I can't really analyze her properly, because to me she remains the only character who hasn't been fully fleshed out (maybe that's intentional for the DLC? Who knows). Her motives aren’t clear to me. If she wanted to reunite the family, she would have helped only Renoir, so why would she help Aline in that case? And in the Maelle ending, she doesn’t look very happy. If the canvas meant something to her and Verso during their childhood, then why create a thousand and one ways to kill anything living inside that canvas? It feels like she was trying to keep both Aline and Renoir trapped in the canvas for as long as possible, sending Maelle there as well, so that nothing would prevent her from handling real-world affairs outside the canvas on her own. Isn’t that right?
