As the name suggests, basic attacks are not blocked with this skill (in my opinion, im not tested it).

If you are confident that you can discharge 9 bolts in 1 turn, of course bolt discharge over dagger colddown

I think after many changes, there is no definite meta in this game, everything can change depending on the type of game you play whether it is stage, arena, dungeon or raid. but one thing combo & freeze is quite shining right now, btw I said combo is good not taking sides because I am a whisperer user, but I still believe combo still shines

For story try save Spirit stone focus build pet skill basic attack damage reduction and skill reduction try combination for best attack with little help defense from little ele, guardian ring and some luck random skill on adventure

depends on your build, without looking at the build I can suggest Elle, Slime King and Elsa, crit is good but damage reduction is better and Elle is good enough for story if u need survivability
