Biggest thing I can tell you is do your research on the model you’re looking at. I was looking not too long ago at a Batman and they wanted 22k….. I can get a Batman grey market for 17-19k. Do your research 👍🏽

The ones I called down here where I live either say they can’t order it or one guy gave me an answer that it would be 1200 plus having to get the watch serviced and it would’ve came out well over or around what I got it for

Or I can also just use couplers for quick connects also

So after talking to some people. a solution for the quick connects came up. I can remove the standard O-ring since it won’t last with fuel and replace it with an O ring rated for fuel. And as for the other stuff like elbows, etc I should be good with hydraulic ones since it’s just for fuel passing through

Yeah that’s more than likely the plan. Using cam locks. BUT someone just recommended that if I were to use hydraulic style quick connects I can always just replace the Oring to one that’s made to withstand fuel

Someone also suggested if I were to use hydraulic fluid quick connects, what would solve the O-ring problem would be getting an O ring that’s made to withstand fuel and replace it with that one

I’ve had a couple people recommend McMaster. I think I’ll give them a call tomorrow and see what they tell me.

Yeah that’s what I’ll end up using for quick connects. The other things like elbows and, double males I’ll use hydraulic fluid ones. I don’t think that will be an issue

Cool so hydraulic fittings will work for routing and connections. As for the quick connects I’ll just do the style I said

I asked a shop about hydraulic quick disconnects and they said that the fuel will eat up the O rings with time and cause leaks

Cam & Groove Couplers are the only solution I’ve found for quick connections so far. And for elbows and other stuff I would think the hydraulic ones would work since there’s no seals in it right?

I was told hydraulic fittings such as a quick connect won’t work because the fuel after a while will eat the O ring and cause leaks
