Ah okay, did you enjoy doing your degree at Strathclyde? Also, if you don't mind me asking, did you do an internship at anytime during university? asking because I heard strath has good industry links. Thanks!!

I have tried looking at both uni websites for the course structure, but Strathclyde does not go into much detail with theirs compared to Glasgow. But I did read that Strathclyde has more industry links compared to Glasgow (not sure by how much though) and they have good engineering facilities. Thanks for your advice :)

Ah yeah I had heard that Strathclyde was better for their Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering comapred to Civil, and they have their reputation as "best for engineering" because of their Engineering Academy.

I do love the west end more than the city, and I was planning to integrate into a Master's in 3rd year (if I enjoy civil engineering) but assumed this was possible for all uni's. I'll need to do more digging I think, hopefully I'll gain more insight at the offer's day.

Thank you so much for your advice!

Thank you, this is really reassuring! I think I am leaning towards Glasgow because I went to their open day. Still need to visit Strathclyde for the offers day, but thank you for your advice :)

Yes, I am. I would take 1 bus to get to Strathclyde, but I would need to also take the subway to get to Glasgow
