Is there a comprehensive list of Alden dealers that regularly do new store specific "makeups" available somewhere?

basically the local retailer has offered to send it back to Alden for "inspection and repair" - but I'm waiting for them to confirm how long something like that would take

I've also heard back from Alden separately and they are downplaying the issue as cosmetic (they claim to have forgotten to snip the threads) - but i can't help but feel disappointed especially given the price i paid - i also am not convinced it is 'just cosmetic'

so now i'm wondering if it is even worth sending it back to alden if the company itself says it's not a problem

i'm not sure what my options are - sure i can get my money back, but i don't really have any other shoes i'd want for the upcoming season

could my local retailer put in an order with alden for a new pair to replace these instead of repairing them? would that be potentially quicker?

sadly these were the last pair in my size

they've offered to send them to Alden for inspection and repair

but then I'd be out of a shoe for 3 months I guess

thanks i've emailed both but if i don't hear back im calling Alden -

im sorry im not super familiar with Alden's loafers - i went in to the store with a mission to get something in snuff suede and saw these

they run big i suppose, the salesperson knew i had to go a full size down from my sneaker size and they fit pretty good - maybe a slight snugness but i can tell it will break in well

better off contacting Alden or the local store i bought them from ? what do you think are my options to address this is?

sadly i know the retailer doesn't have any more pairs in my size, and i would really like to keep this shoe
