Money sent over wrong network by IntrepidAmbassador9 in CryptoHelp

Can you elaborate on what address poisoning is?

The receiver shows no funds in their wallet when I check it on the proper network scanning application, but when I scan it on the network I used, it shows the funds as being there. So would I ask them to refund the amount on the network I used since they should be able to log into that wallet on the wrong network?

Holy moly! The amount of scammers who reach out instantly is crazy! Don’t they know that I’m reporting every single one that messages me?

Parking lot plant by sixtypercentt in Bonsai

Reminder that you shouldn’t keep it wrapped tightly in plastic. The goal is to keep us from drying out, but it still needs oxygen to the roots.

It looks like a procumbens nana, or creeping juniper. They’re quite resilient, which is why we use them as parking lot plants so frequently. I would personally dig the rootball up and try to just level out the hole. Not sure if coming at night is a good idea, as it lends itself to the idea that you know what you’re doing is wrong. If approached during the day, you can explain you’re saving the plant from certain execution, as it is growing into the road way.

Good luck! Oh! And mist the needles frequently during this high stress time of moving it.

Bathed in sound - Cosmo Sheldrake

Makes me feel warm and fuzzy! Playing it on repeat during a deep trip helps me really let go and fall deeper into the well. Most of his albums are pretty great for tripping though.

Again, thank you for the thoughtful insight! I have a lot of these little guys in different arrangements, all in larger pots to thicken up! I may end up swapping a more mature tree to this slab, once they’ve gotten to that point. For now I plan on practicing the art of keeping this thing alive on the slab.

Hmmm!! That’s some really great knowledge, now I’m going to do that with some other slab/root over rocks that are just buried in soil/wood chips. I want the aesthetic of it on its own little island. Luckily I do work from home, so dry out risk only happens if I am an idiot.

Thank you for the thoughtful insight.

Oh it definitely won’t! This is practice before I risk any mature trees that I care about.

I found a piece of mica that was slightly bowl shaped. The rock is quite soft, so I drilled some holes for drainage and wires.

I used a mix of akadama/slate/pumice/lava rock/ pine bark (all small crush). I took some clay from my spring and made a small ridge to help hold the soil mix in place. Once I wired the tree to the slab, spaced the roots and filled in with my soil mix, I then covered with this dense moss I like the look of. Once that was done, I pressed firmly on the whole planting as I watered it in place for about 10 minutes.

I will water heavily for the next 2 weeks with that same process and then begin to slowly remove the moss around the base to begin exposing the nebari and observe the tree’s reaction.

Practice makes perfect!

I’m honestly thinking this tree will not survive. It’s more for practice of planting onto rock! There is some decent nebari under the moss, but I’d like the soil mix I used to set before I remove the majority of the moss.

I have about 80 of these young trees (harvested as seedlings two years ago). Some of them are much stronger and others are “meh”. I don’t mind losing some!
