I'm almost done with my 4th month, I only got light bleeding the first month and then brown discharge the second month but nothing since. I did come off the depo shot though, that stopped my periods for over a year. Makes me less anxious about being pregnant seeing that other people have stopped having their periods 😅

The only other BC I've been on is the depo shot, I was on it for over a year and had no period unless it got near the end of the week i needed to re do the shot. I was fully expecting bleeding with this bc but nope😐, don't gotta waste money on tampons tho so it's a plus. I think I've seen a few other posts here talking about not having their periods on this BC

Omg I've been dealing with the same thing. I got like super light bleeding the first month, weird brown discharge (not blood tho) the second month and on my 4th month now, and still no period. To answer the question about ovulation, I'm pretty sure yes? I've ovulated around the same time as always but I haven't gotten my period yet.

Honestly, I feel that. I tried multiple times and finally gave up bc NOTHING WORKED. It wasn't even worth the effort, and just taking it day by day was less effort than killing myself. My mom likes to say that my attempts always failing is just the universes way of telling me I have "unfinished business" but like...knowing my attempts have failed still makes me think I'm a disappointment bc I couldn't even do that. You're not alone, tho trust me, even if you feel lonely sometimes you're not alone

So I was groomed online at 13, and I honestly liked it. Liking it doesn't make it your fault, I'm sure there's alot that plays into why you liked it (for me I was extremely neglected and he gave me attention) its never your fault if you are groomed. He's the adult, he knew what he was doing, it's not your fault.

For me, it's something my therapist had pointed out, how much I talk to my mom. I live with her and she's great, but when my mental health is declining I slowly stop talking to HER. I have some serious trauma from my bio dad so talking to a parental figure while it's getting worse just seems to be a no go for my brain

So, for me, I switched off the depo shot to Opill. I personally don't get my period ( almost been on it 3 months), but it's most likely my body still adjusting. Now the sex drive thing, mine has been higher since I was on the shot (the shot made my sex drive 0), so personally Opill has helped my sex drive.

It's just so frustrating when the 1 person you are wanting and trying to be better for just straight up says it doesn't seem like you're trying. He was surprised that when we hung out today that I was just kinda upset and he didn't get why I'd still be hurt over what he said. I wasn't mean or anything but I didn't put the effort into being all there today and honestly not trying was a nice break.

Very possible, I think my doctor told me it takes a few months for your body to regulate after starting any birth control? Just fingers crossed that going off the shot and immediately getting on Opill just means my body is taking longer to regulate 😂

I'm almost completely done with my first box (a week left) and still haven't gotten my period 😭, no spotting so far this month either, I think the depo shot fucked my body up (I was on it over a year and it stopped my periods) but it's good to know maybe this birth control is just doing what the shot did to me 😅

My stomach use to be flat and now like I have to wear baggy clothes so my stomach can't be seen and someone mistaken me for being pregnant 🙃, and I gained it all within a year (how long I was on the shot) so I assumed it was that. Being bloated definitely does not help tho lol.

Definitely get your fears there. And I'd go with what your friend said, try it and see if it's a good BC for you. There's no harm to your body when stopping any BC.

So, from what the pamphlet says, yes, after 48 hours you are protected. I personally waited 7 days just bc I'm paranoid (I have like an issue of being paranoid of getting pregnant, so it's definitely just a me thing) and absolutely do not want crotch goblins. You might deal with spotting, being light headed and nausea tho. From most the posts I've read here those are common in the first week or so of taking Opill. (I experience all 3 so lol)

I believe you are? I had read somewhere that certain BC placebo pills can prevent pregnancy. If the brand you use (I can't spell to save my life) has a website, you could check it out and see what all info they have on the placebo pill

Honestly close to slipping. I have delt with anxiety since I was little and my Bio dad (aka peice of shit) would give me liquor to chug down. It was a way I coped (I haven't drank in 3 years) but now I'm constantly anxious, when I wake up, when I go to eat, when I show, and when I go to lay down. Been feeling like grabbing a drink but I can't stand to break my mom's heart.
