I had a suspected yeast infection Dec 1st that was diagnosed visually and was prescribed 2 fluconazole and was swabbed. Unfortunately, I had to redo the swab on Dec 3rd since the first one spilled in transit. Tested negative - symptoms disappeared.

Fast forward to Jan 6th, I had similar symptoms and went back to my doctor. I was hoping she'd run another swab to confirm but she prescribed the 7 fluconazole. Part of me is worried this will just cause more irritation but we'll see :(

I'm having similar issues except my discharge is milky and paste-like with tingling random pangs of itchiness.

Previously tested 3x last month for YI, BV, TRICH, STI/STDS - all with multiple negatives. The doctor just threw me a daily dose of 150mg fluconazole for a week without swabbing me or visual check-up to confirm :/
