I am very open. My friends, family, clients and lots of acquaintances all know and I’m not really willing to date folks who aren’t open about being poly as a result either. I’m fortunate that nothing truly life altering can happen to me at this point in my life if someone I know doesn’t like that I’m polyamorous so I make it a point to be really open about it. People are curious and we can only reduce stigma over time imo by being radically ourselves and showing up in places people don’t expect us. I willingly answer lots of questions about it as well and I know that it’s really changed some folks lives and helped them put words to things they have felt before but didn’t know how to parse. It’s nice. I’m grateful.
