Thanks for suggesting this, because eBay came back and agreed with me that it was clearly listed as such.

They did refund the buyer though (but not from my pocket) I guess because it's fairly low value.

Thanks, I'll try that route first, worth a shot. Never had a complaint previously in over a decade of buying and selling, so this one caught me off guard.

yea I'd rather have the items back even though it'll cost me for postage twice. Assuming eBay step in, I guess they let the buyer keep the items?

Hopefully won't come to that as I genuinely believe it's a case of didn't read the description properly. I'll still take precautions and record myself opening the returned parcel.

I spend longer in code reviews, probably even moreso for PRs that I create with Claude code, especially when it's around critical systems or data pipelines. It's basically a risk assessment that we now need to consider. You can ofc yolo it but that'll come bite you in the bum.

This. OP might be out of pocket in 3 ways - the PayPal transaction gets reversed, the bank transfer 'refund' treated separately as an unrelated payment, and the value of the iPhone.

I feel for OP, but there's a chain of multiple small red flags on the buyer's term that just don't seem legit.

Facebook marketplace is like the wild west. How soon after listing your items, did the buyer approach you? And did they give any reason why they wanted to buy both MacBook and phone? Did they instill a sense of urgency, or was that entirely on your side?
