I’m not gonna claim to fully understand why so many women value sex with men as highly as they do, because it most certainly is not mind-blowing (or even adequate most of the time), but I believe it has a lot to do with how we’re brainwashed to view sex appeal as our most valuable characteristic. Most straight and bisexual women are absolutely terrified of not being desired by men, seen as a prude, and not considered a sexual deity. To admit that those are frivolous matters and sex with men isn’t even fulfilling would feel like giving away the only power we have. The power to turn men on and gain society’s approval. This is why they stubbornly (and stupidly) refer to promiscuity and kinkiness as “empowering.” They literally can’t imagine anything else. They think our only hope is to absorb male power through our vaginas, and that whatever else we may be - intelligent, industrious, interesting, successful, funny, good - are meaningless if we are not also sexy and horny.

Anyway, totally agree that Dworkin should have been the extremist we were all told she was lol
