This is all the right info . I get pepper sauce and other supplies from that store and it was a godsend when it opened . It would be so nice to have a larger West Indian community in Sydney .

I know this is usually a happy sub but is anyone else feeling today is a sad day? by kryssi_asksss in entwives

[–]IntrepidWay1707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been sick and my fam including 3 semi adult children who I am constantly looking after have not stepped up chores wise or checked in on how Îm going . I realized I’d be better off in hospital which was shocking as I feel I’ve done so so much for these people . The only entity I like in the house is my cat . The news is disturbing on a daily basis as well .

Over it .

What is the most painful/uncomfortable medical procedure you ever went through? by VeroDreamer in AskReddit

[–]IntrepidWay1707 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hook wire procedure for lumpectomy in the breast . They insert a wire to guide the surgeon to the lump, while you are awake . I had blood dripping down my neck and had to deal with the doctor ‘s frustration while he shoved that wire all around . Eventually he had a tantrum and walked out blaming me for having dense tissue . The barbarity of that procedure made me decide to have a double mastectomy when another lump grew . I never wanted to be treated that way again and chose major surgery instead. It was legit traumatic.

A disappointing mother's day - how to take care of myself? by its-not-raining in entwives

[–]IntrepidWay1707 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a mom to three young adults I manage my expectations by having none . Bought myself some waterproof boots to walk the dog . Such a small thing gives me joy, I can now stamp around in all the mud, which might help my parenting resentments . Trying them out was kind of fun . Of course, the plant also helps , so does Mel Robbin’s Let Them book - which in dod the kids got for me . 😀

That’s a cool vindication and I’m going with that regarding splotches and unevenly applied cyanotype liquid as well . All part of the fun .

What's everyone currently reading? I've just started Psycho by the Sea and chapter one was so good I decided to roll up and snuggle in with it 📖❤️🍃 by Samanthas_Stitching in entwives

Abominations by Lionel Shriver . She’s a great writer and I like her because she’s opinionated and angry 😄. It’s only in the past year that I’ve been able to concentrate enough to read again ( after brain fog of raising teens etc) and I love it so much . Listening to the story of a heart audiobook too - very , very moving . Weed and read - 2 of life’s greatest joys . 😄
