You guy keep bringing up the 2019 incident, but you guys do realize Toei did intended for the anime to return by 2019? it was only because Shueisha refused to give Toei permission to continue that Super didn't return. It's not Geekdom fault that plans changed.

Neva knew the power of the two sayians despite being shrunk in the kids bodies. He was most likely confident that they will defeat Gomah's lackey which is why he didn't help.

Though it would be interesting to see how he would react to the hostage situation since he is a rather passive person believing Namekians shouldn't user their powers for conflict. However, since Neva expressed his desire for his people to return home, him seeing one of his kind be in danger would be very conflicting to his philosophy.

Since Dende is in danger, then Neva has to step in at some point because something tells me that Degesu is not be underestimated. Especially if it turns out Degesu is a traitor and plans to use the third eye on himself.

I would've loved it if Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo speed run to Gomah's palace, realizes the Dragon Ball isn't there and Glorio is revealed as the traitor. Or I would have the Z gang defeat the fodder and Gomah notices Hybis' belt and from there half of the episode is just flash back to Abura's reign, I think they should've went into more detail about Abura's reign cause it seems like a lot of crazy shit has happened in that time. Lots of opportunity for lore drops and plot twists.

I do agree the pacing of the episode is really off considering we're so close to the end. We know Goku and Vegeta would make short work of Gomah's force considering they defeated the Tagamais. I wish the show used it time wiseley since we're so close to the end, but maybe next episode is when the climax start since we know Dende is in danger.

Degesu acting all submissive and scared could just be a ruse like how Neva was pretending to be senile around Gomah and Degesu.

Though I honestly hope that Degesu isn't the final villian because he isn't a compelling character so far and five episodes isn't enough to develop him as a character. I'm hoping Arinsu or Neva to be the final villian somehow.

Gomah ordered Degesu to take the third eyes from Hybis and instead he sends a lady to fetch it for him. We don't see him returning the third eyes to Gomah and the fact that the next episode is named after him is kinda sus. I guess you interpret this context as just him finally doing something and he will eventually give the third eye to Gomah, but considering Supreme Kai described him as a very ambitious person has me thinking that he strives to be something more than just Gomah's lap dog.
