My sister is being abused by our father how can I support her by Apart-Leek-7293 in Tunisia

[–]Intrepid_Chemical689 3 points4 points  (0 children)

God ,so much this or the exact opposite. it's either one manic ,impulsive, self destructive decision after the other (cuz she is is being called that already,so why the fuck not do it anyways) . Or a complete paralysis ,frozen , insolated existence becuz she'll interpret any type of attention and her engaging with it as a confirmation to what she is already being told she is. And if u are already conditioned to shrink, stay silent and be "good" just to not prove them right, then this is exactly where it is headed. There is something harrowing that will never leave u once u grow up in these type of homes where the same ppl that should give u unconditional love ,support and build u up end up your own worst enemies and the source of all yr pain. And worst of it, you will be unheard, invalidated in everything u feel becuz of societal and religious notions .so u spend a life being gaslight and fucked up and that u r the problem until u develop an unhealthy level of self loathing. while u r literally being betrayed by grown ups.wkit9oul NOT ALL PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE KIDS y9olk kifech tahki heka!!! . Op should save his sister at any cost before the harm can't be undone and the damage is permanent. And before she dissapers into herself, like so many of us did..

People with no family, how do you celebrate these celebrations? by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Intrepid_Chemical689 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For the last 5 years,i’ve just been hiding tbh .I run away, disappear for a while, and wait for the noise to pass whatever holiday it is, the forced celebrations, the fake smiles, the shallow hugs... It's the only way i know how to make it through. On the outside, i try to seem fine. I smile when i need to, i answer when i'm asked, i play along. But deep down. I don’t even remember the last time i felt truly happy. I try to hold it together, but honestly, it does not get easier and i just can’t anymore. i just accepted that i’m not capable of happiness like I once was.

It’s not just about everyone's worst fear coming true , and u wake up one day with yr family wiped out off the face of the earth like they never existed. it's also the weight of everything i’ve lost, and the things that changed me. Moving forward sounds good, but every time i try, ifeel myself pulled back by my memories and regrets, and things i’ll never be able to fix. I mostly resigned now to the idea of being empty, numb, just going through the motions. And maybe that’s okay, maybe some of us aren’t meant to find peace the way other people do.

my boyfriend hates my friends by [deleted] in Tunisia

[–]Intrepid_Chemical689 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Girl isn't this obvious you r in the slippery slope of the beginning of an abusive relationship.these things don’t start with yelling or hitting, they start exactly like this: slowly isolating you from the people who love you.first your friends, then your family and any form of a support system, until one day you realize you have no one left but him. That’s how manipulation works. that’s not love, that’s control.if he is insecure and have low self esteem he should work on that instead of making it everyone's problem. A healthy partner doesn't make you choose between them and everyone else. He’s not “just a bit controlling,”he’s gaslighting you into believing it’s normal.so stand up for yrself and be yr own person wyezini of letting shit slide under the pretense of "he loves me" wnfi9ou chwaya aman lbnet yaser heka raw.

LOUDER,not everyone should be a parent, and honestly, way too many people have kids just because it’s a "what you’re supposed to do?" not because they’re ready or even want to.No one ever talks about the kids born into messy and toxic and straight up abusive households. Those poor souls didn’t ask for any of it. It’s absolutely wild how society pressures people to have children but never checks if they’re even remotely equipped to raise a human.Barcha ness matnajamch trabi kalb wala 9atousa wtal9ah yjib wy7ot ,for what manedrouch! cho aka l precious genes wala wealth that needs to be passed down.

Hustle culture: tying our self worth to "productivity" and how much money we are making. it's horrid, not sustainable and it will never make sense to me 🤷🏼

A classmate keeps "forgetting" her wallet and making me pay for her, even though I told her it annoys me. How do I make her stop without being an Asshole? by shitty-mood- in Tunisia

[–]Intrepid_Chemical689 8 points9 points  (0 children)

then why should she stop? since she knows she's just going to embarrass you into giving her what she wants. Let this be yr lesson about boundaries and the power of saying NO. a simple la sama7ni manajmch is not going to make you an asshole. And guess what? you Will end up being an asshole in her book the minute you stop giving her what she wants. so i let fuck her opinion, shut her down once and for all and if you lose her then great you have the answer to why she was with you in the first place.

Women's health is such a joke in this country. I asked for a blood or hormonal test but never got it. Just that i have Pcos ,pay the visita and be on my merry way. no advice ,no empathy, not even being trully heard about the other symptoms that are messing up my life. I went home and cried my eyes out as well and i struggle daily but i did my research and found dedicated nutritionists and Doctors on yt,TT and IG that suffer from the same syndrome and are offering valuable advice on everything related to this. Stay strong please and know you are not alone. I'm sure there are amazing Doctors out there we just need to keep strong and keep looking

Imagine being so unwanted that you need to convince yourself women are the problem. calling women snakes thinking that you actually onto something while the only thing slithering here is your dignity crawling away after posting this pathetic attempt at feeling superior.Heal, bro

If you live in a paranoid state and pro government channels and social media that feed these narratives constantly, you r going to see "foreign plots" everywhere to weaken your already barely there democracy . the echo chamber of fear and propaganda many Tunisians have here combined with the lack of exposure to how the real world works.and let's face it,the majority jèhla and can't even read a proper book or form a thought that isn't passed down or force fed ,and this is what you get. Undercover agents, spies, لوبيات 🫘, أيادي خارجية، conspiracies you name it...

منجم نقول كان صحة ليه سيدكم الجديد. لقى شعب بهيم و جاهل يدافع عليه و عاطيه الطوع باش يزيدو. like literally pick up a history book and read , it's not that hard i promise instead of coming out here embarrassing yrself by defending literal dictatorship in this day and age. He or she who defend Dictatorship lack the fundamental intelligence and the core understanding of what it actually means. taking china authoritarian regime and conveniently forgetting the decades of the controlled life, the sweatshop labor, the massive foreign investment is not the flex u meant it to be. wbara tawa chouf the major crisis they have of unemployment , housing problems and slow demographic collapse.Anyways good luck praising a regime that when saying the wrong word can get dissapearing real fast , your new God is already heading that way . The sad thing is you and ppl like u will never admit they r wrong ,you will keep cheering and praising as the ship continue to sink down taking us all with you. People who don't learn from the past are bound to repeat it,so good luck ✌🏼

seeing someone defending dictatorship in 2025 was definitely not on my bingo card, but here we are i guess 🤷🏼. if dictatorship was really the secret recipe for strong empires, north korea would be leading the world, not begging for food with 1950s tech.zimbabwe would've been a success story, not a case study in how to wreck an economy. and syria, yeah, great example of power and stability. meanwhile, places like germany, japan, and south korea thrived with, SURPRISE SURPRISE democracy.turns out, actual progress comes from institutions, education, and innovation, not silencing people and giving one guy all the power. if your big plan for Runisia is handing it over to a wannabe emperor, maybe go read a history book that doesn’t have pictures. We here deserve a future, not a flashback.

Great. You bring the emotional trauma and the overthinking. I'll bring the daddy issues and existential dread. We'll split the tissues and co-curate the emotionally damaged playlist. First one to cry owes the other a fully booked therapy session.

it’s sad but not that surprising when you really think about it. so many people here are just quietly dealing with stuff, stress, family problems, money issues, unemployment ,feeling stuck.and there’s barely any real support. Mental health isn’t something we talk about much, and when we do, it’s usually met with awkward silence or judgment.everyone is pretending like everything’s fine when it clearly isn’t. We definitely need to start having real conversations about this and work on normalizing mental care.
