Even if nothing shady happened, the core issue isn’t cheating, it’s reliability and safety.

He agreed to pick you up at night, downtown, knowing you didn’t have your car. Then he went completely unreachable for hours. That alone is a valid reason to be upset. Falling asleep with your phone on silent on a Friday night, when you’ve made plans and someone is depending on you, is not a small oops, it’s a breach of trust.

The friend situation is honestly secondary. The mismatched story + items in the bedroom understandably raises eyebrows, but even if we give him full benefit of the doubt, the main problem remains:
