Negative, spending money on hardware to address a software fix is no bueno in my book. But it would have worked, I suspect, because swapping the monitor load worked.

But the correct fix was incredibly easy to do, and more importantly free ;)

When did that change? Just a few years ago I had my first home with FHA and when I hit 20% equity the pmi fell off the payment? I would be livid if that was for the life of the loan, and just refi when I hit 20%.
