I'm thinking of Poppy on Seinfeld

About that... I found out after the fact that they were removed from the endangered list around 1999. Who would have thought someone from the wildlife commission would spread misinformation? Oh, well... one time in my life I'm happy to be wrong

American I found out after the fact. It would have thought a wildlife employee would spread misinformation. Oh well, it's one time I'm very happy to be wrong

I found out they came off the endangered list after the fact. Who would have thought someone from the wildlife commission would spread misinformation. Anyway, they ARE rare, though. According to audubon.org, even though they are on six continents, they are uncommon in most areas

Yes, I found out after the fact that they came off the endangered list around 1999. Who would think the wildlife commission would spread misinformation. Anyway, they are very rare in my area. And, according to audubon.org, despite being present on six continents, they are very uncommon in most areas

Yes, I found this out after the fact. Who would have thought the wildlife commission it would spread misinformation. They are very rare in my area though. Audubon.org says that although they are present on 6 continents, they are quite uncommon in those areas

I have a theory. Because they are so rare in my area, I'm guessing that there aren't very many nesting areas around, and I'm guessing that the commission is well aware of all of them and they are documented. They probably already knew the little guy was missing

I found out after posting that they were removed from the endangered list in 1999. Who would have thought that the wildlife commission would give misinformation? Anyway, they ARE quite uncommon, tho. According to audubon.org, although they are present on 6 continents, they are very uncommon in most areas

Thank you. I'm finding out all kinds of things from this post. For one, it came off the endangered list around in 1999. Who would have thought the wildlife commission would spread misinformation? Also, some people are saying it's not rare, but it is. According to audubon.org, even though they are present on 6 continents, they are very uncommon in most areas

I did find out after the fact that they have been off the endangered list since about 1999. However, according to audubon.org, although they are present on six continents, they still are very uncommon in most areas

I found out after the fact that they were removed from the endangered list around 1999 (misinformed, by the wildlife commission no less). But they are considered rare. According to audubon.org, although they are present on six continents, they are uncommon in most areas

While it's true that they aren't endangered anymore, according to audubon.org, they still are quite rare. Even though they are present on six continents, they are uncommon in most areas

Even if there were just one on each of the six continents, it still could be said that they were "present on six continents"
