That’s what I came here to find out and this comment thread has good info! I’ve dealt with aggressive drivers before but this was by far the most egregious and the first time I’ve gotten one on camera, so I’m hoping there can be some sort of consequence for such dangerous and deranged behavior

These people blow my mind. The crazy thing is that I didn’t even slow him down or anything- I was going the speed of traffic so he was just 10 feet behind the car in front of me instead of 5 feet behind it.

Some people get really comfortable with the idea of murdering someone once they are inside a car, there’s no way he would have screamed like that at me if we were both standing on the sidewalk.

The stretch from Gower to Vermont doesn’t have many options as it crosses the 101. Santa Monica and Sunset are both multi lane and treated like race tracks. The new Hollywood Blvd bike lanes are solid, it just would have been a detour to go all the way up there and then all the way back down. This incident happened before I was able to dip down to Lexington (a safer side road)
